Kurtle Squad Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 On certain levels of Red Alert 2, when I get an incomming transmission, the game just crashes completely (meaning I can't actually complete it). Do I need more RAM or what?!!?
Konfucius Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I suppose it crashes when videos should start to play, I had that problem with Star Trek Armada 2, unfortunately I can't help you on that problem but maybe installing a codec pack or something could solve it. Did you look on the EA support site?
Bogbas Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Have you checked the game's website, or seen if there are patches available for it?
Sanchez Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 That happened to me when I was using intergrated intel graphics, are you using them too?
Kurtle Squad Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 That happened to me when I was using intergrated intel graphics, are you using them too? I hav no idea. I'm not very specy and such.
Sanchez Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 If your computer is a Dell, then theres a pretty good chance that it is, you can find out by doing a Run -> "dxdiag" (without the quote marks) and then clicking the Display tab. Post what it says in the top left box.
Kurtle Squad Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 It's not a Dell, it's a made up one. I wish I could get one of their gaming computers though, but I don't earn nearly enough for it to be worth the price for me.
