CooInTheZoo
MSN hasnt worked for a while. Not since the month i got Norton Antivirus. SO i've been using Trillian for a while now, except latley im not getting all my messages through, and its getting rapidly worse. Could someone please give me a step by step help guide to try and get MSN online again? When i try to sign in (on 7.5) i get this message "Signing into MSN Messenger failed because the service is too busy. Please try again later" when its not bloody busy, all my friends are online and according to the msn website its all stable and running It just makes me think theres a firewall problem, and i dont know how to sort it out Any help would be appreciated, thank you
Andrew
Norton = big mistake, it causes all sorts of problems and I can't be bothered troubleshooting this software any longer. Do a google search for Avast or AVG avtivirus, they are both much better and free alternatives. Uninstall Norton, and then you might need to reinstall MSN too possibly. CooInTheZoo
I have AVG free version now, thanks guys But im really aprehensive about deleting norton. IT cost money, ya know? I propably cant use the code again if msn doesnt work and i reinstall it, ive had no virus attacks since i got it... is there no other way? EDIT: deleted it. msn still doesnt work but there is a new error message at least any more ideas? EDIT i tried msn 7.0, and NOT msn 7.5 and it works fine
