Which of these combinations are the best to use?

I suppose it depends on the track? Most are down to personal preference.

 

Maybe try both on a track on time trial and which gets you the faster times?

Generally I would just pick the parts that made my kart look the most ridiculous, but then I was never in it to win it.

Haven't played MK8 in a long time. I suppose I'd it were down to me I would use the Toad P-Wing combo but that's purely down to the fact that Toad has often been a character I'd use in Mario Kart and the fact that I prefer using karts in general.

 

My own preferred combination I don't think I could use online, I used the Mercedes chassis with a Lewis Hamilton Mii in it. I have a Miiverse post of it somewhere but I'm on a phone at the moment so can't link it.

Personally, my favourite setup is Medium Mii, Master Cycle, Wooden Wheels and the Gold Glider, but then again I'm the only person on N-Europe who actually prefers inside drifting, so naturally, I'm completely bonkers!

 

It really is a matter of preference though, because outside of time trials, focusing on speed is never the answer.
