Celebrating the New Year in the vicinity of London?

My girlfriend and I might want to usher in the new year in London (or somewhere quaint), but we're sort of poor sods so I thought maybe a fellow N-Europer could host us.

 

Now I'm just throwing this out here, there isn't a certainty that we're going because of reasons, but if we do decide to go it'll probably only be for a few days.

 

So, does anyone near London or somewhere in an awesome place in Britain have room/time for two people?

What did you expect? The vast majority of people either live with their parents or in a flatshare. And in London people are hardly going to have room for two additional people.

Hmmyeah, I guess your right.

 

I sort of thought that people who're living with their parents would perhaps have a guest room or something of the like.
