MadDog Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I got a new iMac yesterday, and i love it. But a massive problem has kinda appeared. When i first set it all up and turned it on, i had to press the button a few times, i didn't really think much of it and just forgot about it. I shut it down last night, and tried to turn it back on after a minute or two and i had to spend about 2 mins pressing the button just to get it back on. I shut it down again earlier, and now it isn't turning on at all. Should i just ring them up? Or is there anything that do to hopefully resolve it? Thanks for any help.
Guy Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I have a 2006 iMac that does the same thing. I can fix it by pulling out the power cable and then plugging it back in. Dunno if this helps. If the iMac is brand new, I say get back to them.
MadDog Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 Yeah i've tried all sorts, different plug sockets, cables etc. I've just got off the phone to them and it'll have to be replaced. Thanks for the reply.
