ReZourceman Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Does anyone else watch? The latest episode was brilliant. Well they're all brilliant. I think its just amazing....observational sitcom? Its set in a flat (entirely) and has a 1 half hour segment. Very good.
dan-likes-trees Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 'Look can you go to sleep? We've got a busy day tomorrow. We're watching an entire series of twentyfour, back to back.' Yes. Love it. Big claim: Funniest thing on TV right now? Just me or has this second series been noticeably funnier than the first? Don't remember loving the first one to such a degree. Love the constant gross-out moments. Re: Dan's boyfriend... aaha. Totally bumped into Him when I was out in Soho this summer. I said 'Hey are you that guy from She and Him?' Oops. He was loving the attention, nice guy! Also: Becky is right attractive.

She was in the very under-watched "Roman's Empire" that BBC produced several years ago - their answer to Arrested Development effectively. Anyway, It has been funnier but I don't think I would say massively funnier, but it is utterly brilliant. I absolutely agree that it is the funniest thing on T.V. and I would go a step further and say it is one of the best sitcoms of the last decade, I don't think anything has captured the tiny and insignificant details of normal life before, and the direction/everything about it is amazing, like in the last episode the passing glance of Dan walking down the stairs for half a second as Steve closes the door. Hahahah brilliant. Bits of it are just completely and utterly 100% reminiscent of Claire and I's relationship. Also Dan is often on 8 Out Of 10 Cats these days and he is bloody funny on it/.

I'm thinking I maybe didn't actually watch all of the first series. Future treat! Anway I'd just like to say how amazing the beginning of the latest episode was. Steve rocking out in his underpants and pyjamas to Dakota. Stereophonics, perfect music selection. Loved it.
Hamishmash Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Oh absolutely. Funniest sitcom currently on. The first series was pleasant and observation, but all the characters have had a big funny boost and this series has been utterly, utterly perfect. Yeah. Its amazing.
