I'm looking to buy a new laptop, mainly for browsing and occasionally watching tv shows. I'd prefer it to be ultra portable, I've looked into the Chromebook but i'm not too sure on cloud based system, though it is tempting due to it's size and solid state drive.

I just found this Lenovo Ideapad on the PC World site, but I'm unsure of the reliability of the brand and expect it to have a lot of annoying pre-loaded software.

Or would a Galaxy Tab and clip-in keyboard suffice?

Any thoughts?

The Asus Eee PC X101, althought it isn't out just yet (it will be soon), it might just be up your street, since it's designed around casual browsing (it uses MeeBo OS) and it's extremely thin and light (it only weights around 900gr, I think), plus, it's extremely cheap, starting at 169€.

You'd doing something right by looking at Lenovo. If you have the cash though, I'd go for a ThinkPad X Series. Primarily for Trackpoint, the higher specs, and the battery life. I just bought an X220 for university, and its easily the best laptop I've ever owned.
