Shorty Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Hello. Every now and then, I'm losing the video connection to my Wii. I'm using a component cable, and then mid-game, the screen goes black. The game is still playing, and the sound can be heard. If I then (don't know how I figured this out...) take out the green video cable and plug it into one of the RCA connectors, the screen flickers, and then I can put the green cable back in its original socket and it starts working again (although it will go again after a time). I might just need a new component cable, but there's no way of knowing and I probably won't be able to return it after trying.
