The Bard Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 Nah, Emo's are just contemporary greebo kids with fishnet fetishes and personality disorders. When I think Goth, the connotations are proper old school Bauhaus goths. I have something of a fascination with Goths, in so far as I find their preoccupation with macabre, grim shit interesting stylistically. Although not in the leather chaps and facepaint kinda sense.
Ellmeister Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Maybe its more of a grown up scene that I've just noticed emo's are turning into when they grow up. A few of the people I know and could see following the "hipsters" styles now used to be emos is what I'm trying to say. Not that hipsters is replacing emos as the new erm..whatever it is.
