I would like to point out that this was thread-ripped, without my permission, and I never intended to make any kind of stand against commercialism, especially not in a way that would make me appear judgemental. Although that has clearly already happened so whatever.

 

My main point was not "other people might buy these things for you."

 

My point was: this is a season of giving. If you have more money to spend this season, buy more gifts for the people you care about.

 

But if you don't, I really couldn't care less.
