uncle_buckman Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tv_and_radio/sports_personality_2005/4353078.stm# I don't care who you lot vote for as long as it's not Flintoff.
Fields Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Apparently Peter Crouch was in 2nd place the other day. I don't know if he still is.
Noodleman Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I don't care who you lot vote for as long as it's not Flintoff. Why not name a sportsman this year who has been better in there chosen field and has won somehting for England. I voted for him.
Monopolyman Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I find it rather ironic that Frank Lampard is nominated for an award with the word 'personality' in it. Anyway, I believe that I already voted for Steven Gerrard.
Charlie Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I hope Andrew Murray wins, not likely though, as he won the Young Sports Personality last year. As long as it's not Flintoff I'll be happy.
Eddage Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I don't understand why people don't want Flintoff to win it? He was inspirational in Englands Ashes victory and what else have British sportsmen/women won this year? Sure Murray has had a sensational year rising up the rankings (about 400 places i think?) but I don't think he deserves it when the England cricket team (who should also win the team of the year award) played so briliantly, especially Flintoff!
