Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Meet Nuvo, your very own personal robot. It listens, reacts, walks and talks. It can take pictures, play music, and be controlled via a web browser from anywhere in the world. Its a BIT expensive, but most likely they will be much cheaper in the future. Here is where you can buy one: dynamism.com Please someone buy it for me?
Dieter Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Well if you can buy it, it's not really the future anymore is it :P j/k, looks like a fun toy... for about two days. 7 grand? Hah! My GP2X costs much less and will be able to view photo's, video and play music AND run emulators. No it won't be able to roll over by itself but that's not really something I look in a gadget
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 Yeah? But your GPX2 cant walk! Noob! :p
Caris Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I should bloodey make your meals for you for 7k...
Konfucius Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Wow I find it pretty impressive that they could make a robot that can walk on two feet. Some years ago they needed a huge processor that could calculate the walking mechanics. This robot could come in quite handy. I'd sent it to work, dressed up like me and no one would notice the difference.
MunKy Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 wow what a waste of money. Until robots can pleasure people they will never take off. You know that would be big in Japan.
zaraki Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 funny, nuvo is my cs nick. Anyway, if your ass isnt worth milliones I dont see the point of this.
