redrum217uk Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Sorry If this has been asked a million times but I'm going to buy a new TV tomorrow and I want to connect my PC, xbox 360 and Wii to it. I think I'm gonna go for a 26" LCD one as my Room is quite small and I think sitting in front of anything bigger would just be stupid. Now I'm confused by the connections I can't really find a TV which has DVI connection But I know you can get an adapter for DVI to HDMI for the TV. Dones anyone know what kinda quality i'm gonna get with this? I do want a good picture quality when I play games on my PC. Bit I don't think I have room to have my 19" LCD PC monitor AND a 26" LCD TV, I don't want a small LCD either as I wanna watch DVD's and stuff. Any advice? Cheers
Sheikah Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I use a DVI -> HDMI cable and the quality is very good when displaying PC on the HDTV. Here's the lead I bought: link.
redrum217uk Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 Thanks I ordered it and I should have my new TV today yey!
Emasher Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Since HDMI is DVI with sound added, you're not going to get a loss in quality.
