Oi, car people.

Big cars are called gas guzzlers for a reason. Their MPG's won't be that great.

Unless you want to be mentally and possibly physically raped by insurance, you'll probably need to get a smaller car. I drive a fusion (family car) and its got a lot of room in the back/boot, but its not exactly a looker. My friends love it because its different but some view it as too much of an old car :)

Well i think people have missed something in my first post. Out of small cars such has Yaris', Clios, Fiestas, 206s etc. Which ones have the best MPG?. The jeep thing was a long shot i know , but the main thing i was asking was this.

Oh and also how much more will a 1.2 compared to a 1 litre cost to run? In terms of petrol.

Alot of the MPG stuff comes from how you drive your car. I was in my driving instuctors 2008 1l corsa the other day and it said on the little screen that the MPG was something like 35. Which i thought was pretty crap.

This may be of some help.
