Ellmeister Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Big cars are called gas guzzlers for a reason. Their MPG's won't be that great. Unless you want to be mentally and possibly physically raped by insurance, you'll probably need to get a smaller car. I drive a fusion (family car) and its got a lot of room in the back/boot, but its not exactly a looker. My friends love it because its different but some view it as too much of an old car
Caris Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 Well i think people have missed something in my first post. Out of small cars such has Yaris', Clios, Fiestas, 206s etc. Which ones have the best MPG?. The jeep thing was a long shot i know , but the main thing i was asking was this. Oh and also how much more will a 1.2 compared to a 1 litre cost to run? In terms of petrol.
MoogleViper Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 A 1.2 won't cost loads more than a 1l, but you'll ptobably notice the difference with petrol prices as high as they are.
Strider Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Alot of the MPG stuff comes from how you drive your car. I was in my driving instuctors 2008 1l corsa the other day and it said on the little screen that the MPG was something like 35. Which i thought was pretty crap. This may be of some help.
