Stocka
Okay I recently got a Dreamcast brand new off ebay (for Shenmue I+II) and I had trouble connecting it to my main gaming TV(32inch flatscreen widescreen) I got it to connect to my small TV however, but it is nowhere near as enjoyable on it and I want it with my other consoles on the biggie The problem... ...is well ...when I originially got it it came with a RF unit, http:// but there was nowhere for me to connect this too on my TV. So I bought a scart adaptor off ebay, http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/stocksagooner/Gaming/10.jpg but when I connect it to my TV like I would for my Gamecube, it just won't work. WTF? Any help would be really nice, but it sounds more like theres just something wrong with my scart adaptor possibly. Help would be EXTREMELY appreciated though please
Charlie
Some older consoles don't work with newer TV's, or the other way around. My GC didn't work with my old TV.
RoadKill
Try a different scart socket, and keep switching the AV input until it comes up.
rizz
Yeah, what Roadkill said. I tried putting mine in the free scart socket, and although I could faintly (VERY faintly) see the dreamcast logo when I started the machine, it was not to be. I thought i'd just wasted money on a brand new cable as it wouldnt work on the tv in my room either. Anyway, I don't remember why, but I decided to unplug the cable tv box and try it in that scart socket. Workies.

Stocka
Sorry to double post but i've just done what you advised me to do Piro and I had no luck. Perhaps the cable is faulty, or like suggested, the TV is too new.
RoadKill
TV too new my ass, it should be compatible. Maybe it's an RGB Scart cable and it your TV sucks so bad it doesn't support it :P Mine's an RGB SCART cable for my Dreamcast and it only works in one of the SCART sockets on my telly.
