Caris Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Okay guys, my torrent speeds are slow as hell and i think i have found but the problem but i don't know how to fix it. I think by this screenshot i just need to open that port yes? If so what do i go about putting in my router on the left? I'm probably wrong but I'm desperate for help
AshMat Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Enter 51413 as the starting and ending port for a start. For the rest... i'm not sure. EDIT: Find your router on there: http://www.portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/Utor/Utorindex.htm
Caris Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Port Forward makes no sense to me, well half does half doesn't.
The-Ironflame Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Enter 51413 as the starting and ending port for a start. For the rest... i'm not sure. Do this except set the starting port as 51412 and the ending port 51413 and set the Server IP address as your PC's IP address, such as 192.168.x.x.
thirtynine. Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Turn encryption on on your torrents too just for fun.
The-Ironflame Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 According to your screenshot "automatically map port" is ticked try unticking it. Also do you have a software firewall or antyhing?
Caris Posted February 1, 2008 Author Posted February 1, 2008 Still very slow, i'm on OSX so no firewall.
