rokhed00 Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Right, I've got this MIDI file that I want to embed in to my profile page on one of those social networking sites. Anybody want to tell me how I would go about that?
Charlie Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Which site are you using? Not all of them allow HTML/BBCODE/whatever...
Wesley Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Have you got any personal web space that you can host the MIDI on?
rokhed00 Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 Which site are you using? Not all of them allow HTML/BBCODE/whatever... Tagged, seems to let you embed a lot of stuff, youtube videos, slideshows, allsorts, and I've seen audio files embedded on other profiles. Have you got any personal web space that you can host the MIDI on? I do.
Wesley Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 So you want to let the viewer control (stop, mute) the audio? Or just play on a loop in the background?
Shorty Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 loop a midi in the background? What is this, 1995? Next you'll be adding special cursors and gif animations. I would close that page in a second, at least give them a player to stop it with. If they allow html, the code to embed a midi file is explained nicely here.
