seamus_aran Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I have a nice little laptop. I have a second 22" screen for when I'm at my dorm, watching movies and the like. I want to play my Wii on the screen. How would I go about doing this? Interfaces Mini-D-Sub Connector (15 pin) yes DVI-D (24 pin.) yes Audio In yes I think there used to be a thread about it, but for the life of me I couldn't find it. If I am being a tool, direct me please.
Jasper Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 You can get terrestial television receivers with ananlog input (only the yellow wire, the one with the video). It exists for mac, so it most certainly exists for WIndows. On mac, it plugs in op USB, so on Windows you'll probably find that, too. Didn't help much, but it did give you a direction to look in.
DCK Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 It's in the Wii Discussion, look for the sticky "Video Displays Explained". Basically, get this. Works like a charm, gives component quality, and is rather cheap with the dollar rates as they are. It's not compatible with GameCube games though, as they require progressive scan. I have one, and it's great.
