Razz Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I got one of those things that lets you play with the wireless xbox360 controllers on the PC, and I've installed the software, however when I try and connect by pressing the sync button on both the receiver and the controller they both act like they've recognized eachother (i.e. they stop flashing) However whilst the receiver light turns solid, the controller continues flashing and it basically isn't connected. Please if anyone has this and knows what's wrong can you please help? Thanks anyway
Tellyn Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Is the problem that the controller is still synched to the 360? I know that if you use a different controller on a 360 you need to resynch it by pressing the button next to the battery pack and next to the memory slots on the console, so is there a button on the Crossfire thing?
Razz Posted December 13, 2007 Author Posted December 13, 2007 Yeah that's what I meant when I said synching on the receiver. It has like a big syncch button on the front. I've pressed them together, and It still won't connect.
Razz Posted December 13, 2007 Author Posted December 13, 2007 Long enough for the quad-light to spin (or flash as it does on the receiver)
AshMat Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 simple possible solution Tried taking the battery pack out and putting it back in. Then doing it?
Esequiel Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Iv had that problem a few times with mine.... the only way i found to sort it was to change the USB port it was plugged into.
Razz Posted December 13, 2007 Author Posted December 13, 2007 Yeah I tried both of them. Esequiel do you by chance have a plug and play pack? Because I think that's something to do with it...
Esequiel Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I have used it with a plug and play pack. The only other thing i can suggest is trying to press the control first then the reciever, or the reciever first then the controller. Its a pretty good piece of kit, once its in and working you wont get many problems with it. You could always try an re-install it, and see if microsoft has any patched out on there site for it.
Guest Jordan Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I have one, gotta say i've never had issues syncing. Ever.
Razz Posted December 14, 2007 Author Posted December 14, 2007 Well its suddenly decided to work. I turned on the computer and it just synched no probs. Thanks for the help anyway.
