This will be the first of a tournament that will take place every two years, the next one in England. Here are the group stages, the top two in each group go through to the next stage. Group A South Africa beat West Indies by 8 wickets Scorecard Bangladesh beat West Indies by 6 wickets Scorecard South Africa beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets Scorecard Final Table South Africa Bangladesh West Indies Group B Zimbabwe beat Australia by 5 wickets Scorecard England beat Zimbabwe by 50 runs Scorecard Australia beat England by 8 wickets Scorecard Final Table Australia England Zimbabwe Group C New Zealand beat Kenya by 9 wickets Scorecard Sri Lanka beat Kenya by 172 runs Scorecard Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by seven wickets Scorecard Final Table Sri Lanka New Zealand Kenya Group D Pakistan beat Scotland by 51 runs Scorecard India vs Scotland. Match abandoned due to rain, one point each. Match Tied. India win 3-0 in bowl out. Scorecard Final Table India Pakistan Scotland So here are the Super 8 groups. Group E South Africa New Zealand England India Group F Bangladesh Pakistan Sri Lanka Australia The top two in each group go through to the semi-finals. Anyone who dislikes cricket should seriously check it out especially as it's not as long as a test match (i mean, an innings is just over an hour normally). During the middle overs i was certain india were gonna win but then those last 2 overs made me give up hope completely. However I do think we're making improvements as far as one-day is concerned, and hopefully we'll put up a real challenge next time (and also for the next ODI World Cup).
