Just a quick question about amazon here. Wondered if anyone had joined up to the marketplace and sold stuff from there.

Im looking to offload some of my academic books and ebay is a disaster for trying to sell books so thought I might sell them on amazon. Is it easy to do or is it just reserved for small companies rather than indivduals?

Thanks for any help oh and if any of you need history books let me know lol.

I use it quite often to sell DVDs and games. Much less hassle than Ebay imo. After you upload your details, make sure you check how much money you will recive, as Amazon take quite a large % sometimes, especially with books I would imagine.

Should be selling on it Zune but my customer is in Holland, so is it possible to ship to Holland if he buys from me on Amazon UK or would they need to register on Amazon UK to buy my item..

Haden, it's really easy to sell stuff on Amazon. The only thing I don't like is the cheap delivery fees that you are given (when delivery often costs more) and the fact that Amazon take around 15% of your cash.

And Ryan, you can ship worldwide (our continent wide, not sure) or domestic (within the UK). You choose your option when you sell something.

I always avoid Marketplace. Its great until they cockslap you with sky-high delivery costs which actually make it more expensive than buying off normal Amazon.

yeah I've bought a ton of books of there for a couple of quid then they slap on stupid delivery charges like £5 for some books and you end up paying over the odds...
