Slaggis Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Can anyone recommend me some good drivers for my 7600GS on vista? Its just the last download I did for drivers about a month ago crashed my PC, and messed up windows and its display. The drivers for vista so far are so buggy.

Marshmellow Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I had the same problem with my ATI card a while back. I installed supposively the latest drivers and it shut down my computer. And it told me that it was the drivers fault so I uninstalled the driver and never reinstalled it, and I've been fine since.
Guest Jordan Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Your problem sounds more like your fault, no offense. Instead of running the setup, just extract the download you get, then use Device manager to update the driver. Its far easier..

But what do you mean 'buggy' anyway? Well, what I said, The fact my pc crashes (since installing them) and then when I load up the PC, I log on to my account and the screen goes black. I go into safe mode and it says the problem ws caused by my graphics card drivers. But thanks, I'll try the beta ones.
