Posted April 28, 2007 A reliable source of mine told me EA was acquiring codemasters. I'm putting this as a rumor but hope it gets confirmed soon. __ I thought this would be announced by now (04.05.07). But seeing as it's not, I guess the information was false. Posted April 28, 2007 God, I hope not. I've got nothing against EA but as a British gamer I don't want to see one of the UKs last major publishing houses get bought into the American juggernaut. Besides, every acquisition by the rival facistic empires of EA or Ubisoft brings us another step closer to an apocalyptic future of 3rd party support consisting almost entirely of sequels, movie and comic adaptations being inexpertly shoehorned from one console onto the rest. Publisher reps that go to retail stores usually don't know shit..........and I'm guessing your source would have been one of them.
