Eddage Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I have just accidentally deleted all my videos off my computer! I thought I was just removing the folder from Media Centre but it turns out it I was in fact 'permanently deleting' them! They are not in my recycle bin - is there any way at all that I can get them back?! There was a shit load of stuff there and if there is no way of getting them back then I am gonna be seriously pissed off with myself Cheers for any help!
Eddage Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 System restore perhaps? That only restores system files though!
Guest Jordan Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Oh... yikes. You can get file recovery software but i doubt you could restore files as large as videos.

bmoose Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I would try a system restore mate and try to go far back. I lost every file of my Pc atone stage, did a system restore and they had all returned. Surely worth a shot
Eddage Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 Oh right, I thought system restore just recovered system files?! Does it matter that these files were on an external HDD, so not the one that Windows is installed on?
Mr_Odwin Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Try these: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=154857&postcount=10
Eddage Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Cheers Oders I'm trying out PC Inspector now it's currently doing a search and has apparently found 2034 (currently) files! Some of these will be MP3's that I deleted as well, but hopefully it'll find the videos!
