Bogbas
What do you mean the wireless network interface doesn't get the right IP- address? If it has a static address it shouldn't complain about limited connectivity. Has the wireless access point any security features enabled (i.e mac filtering)? If you have a wireless router set the default gateway and DNS address (on the pc) as the router's IP address when you set the static IP address. rajmist
hi there is no security on the Wireless router, and its very odd how it does not pick up an ip address if set to DHCP i get limited or no connectivty if static i get connection but no internet address and i can't ping the router its all very wierd!! cheers Raj
Blue_Ninja0
If you can't ping the router at all then something really bad is going on. If you can't ping it should not even have any connection to your PC at all. I'm really clueless about what it can be. Try using the windows drivers instead of the brand ones.
