Solo
I'm having trouble playing avi files on WMP, it comes up with a message in the corner of the window saying 'sending request for codec', then 'error downloading codec'. Could anyone tell me how to get avi's working please? Or anyway of converting the avi to wmv or something. Thanks.
Guest Jordan
Simply download the Kazaa lite codec pack, that'll have what you need to play all .avi files in any player. However i suggest for videos just use VLC player since that runs anything under the sun without most codec support.

Jasper
Use VLC media Player (videolan.org) - it's safe and secure. It's miles better than Media Player in playing actual Media (except Music, that is - try iTunes for that) and it's not as graphics-heavy so your movies can run at full speed. VLC + iTunes i the perfect combo for all your media.
Ramar
Except VLC played my videos in purple O_o and Media Player plays them rather dark.
