fex Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) Ok, so i've just got in and i thought i'll have some zelda time, I turned the Wii on and and got ready to play. The annoying health and safety page came up, so i grabbed my Wiimote and pressed A to turn it on... and the four blue lights at the bottom flashed up and stopped flashing unable to connect to the wii, hmm so i took the back panel off and saw the lil red snyc button, gave that a push and no luck. So I grabbed my spare Wiimote and tried the exact same things with that... no luck. I've turn the wii off and on again and still, no luck... The batteries in the remotes are fine, do this sound like my wii has died on me? Do I ring Nintendo up and sent it back to them? or take it back to store? Has anyone else had any problem like this and know how to sort it. ________ Iolite case Edited April 28, 2011 by fex
The Peeps Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Are you pressing the sync button on the wii first and then the remotes?
Mokong Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 happened to me before, i unplugged the Wii and plugged it back in and it worked
fanman Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I had that problem the other day. Try re-synching with the nun chuck plugged in, and reset it a few times. It worked eventually.
fex Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) Thanks for the uber quick reply guys!! Im trying it all out now!! Got it working after a few resets and sync button presses! Sorry for the over reaction I was thinking they'd take my wii away.... sad! ________ Lovely Wendie Edited April 28, 2011 by fex
david.dakota Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 This happened to me litterally 5 minutes after I got mine and had set it up. I'd tried loads of things, but nothing happened. That said, try pointing the Wiimote at the sensor bar and either powering back up or resyncing
Domo Kun Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Ah!? This has happened to me twice. I just fiddle about and it somehow started working again both times. It only ever happens when I start up Zelda though... coincidence?
Smiter Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 This happened to me yesterday, but I solved the error by looking it up on http://www.wiierror.com Very useful site with a good list of errors/fixes.
DiemetriX Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 at work we have a remote that after an hour or so disconnects from the Wii. So we have to resync it every time it does that. >_<
