Well, its not like you have an excuse to be honest. Wireless is easy to set up and cheap if not just go the wired route, most computers have an ethernet port.

Cheap? Without a dongle, is it really that cheap?

In other words, link me to a very cheap, competant router for Wii and DS.

Actually uptake of the internet is only at about 50% and that's probably the best in the West.

Only places that rival us are Japan and Korea.

Uptake means what? Access to the Internet?

Because in Denmark 83% of the population has access to the Internet from their homes so 50% doesn't sound like much to me. Unless I misunderstood

btw. I had my first go at the Wii today at Toys R Us. It was great fun. Yay me :D I'll probably go there again tomorrow for a few hours

I need to try and get my Nintendo dongle working before Friday. When i plug it in it usually makes the ding-dong noise, but doesn't work.. or recognise that it's here.

I'm assuming it has been confirmed the dongles work? Do you need to boot up your PC to use them though (the reason i ask is that i've seen a USB tabletop fan work with the computer OFF, and i was slightly confused by it).

I suppose it'd be a massive own goal if Nintendo's dongle did not work, but thankfully, my router should solve any problems (unless my Wii explodes).

The computer must've been hibernating, some USB devices still work when its hibernating.

There is no reason why the dongle doens't work, it doesn't have DS in its title or anything.

57% in the UK. Lower than I thought!
