Maybe i'm a sceptic, but that comment reeks signs of covering your hide, when, if u are a fake, you will stop posting as BigTac. after those dates.
-
i think his hints are about that zelda projected floor fish demo at e3, you know the one where you walk and step on fishes etc.. his clue, blue ocean, fish, which is the solution to the revolution's graphics, sole (as in step on) groundbreaking
-
well i for one have learnt to be sceptical, if you can prove Big Tac being correct with his info before any big site broke the news i will not be, and i will not come down to your level and start using foul language. Black and white colours are obvious, you can guess, anyone can. I am just trying to keep my feet firmly on the ground after so many false hopes (megaton, Revolution controller etc.), so forgive me if i sound patronising.

OK Big Tac thats the second time you have mentioned something, not making it clear that it is not your exclusive news, even though the readers seem to think so (look at the replies).

revolution report reported this story, before u did................hmm...........................cough*** F.................A............Ker*** Cough**

theyll be special retrograded controllers (i.e. wired) i guess only way other than hiring security guard for each store.
-
come to think of it he posted his info on the 12 January, so he could be fake, who lets journalists into private meetings for games in development for highly classified consoles??????
-
Does 'Big tac' have any connection with IGN revolution?, i think he does, as which other journalists would get special access to the architecture?
-
any news on the rumoured low memory?????, also anyone notice that ign revolution has gone quiet on the specs front, almost like a calm before the storm.
-
every developer is acting like they do not have dev kits and know nothing about the console, reckon Nintendo has strict NDA's on them. Even to the point of admitting knowing too much about the revolutionary features, hence Kojima looking down when miyamoto is hinting, ( he did not want any of his facial expression to be misunderstood- i.e. if he got a bit giddy, he would look too pally with Nintendo). Maybe i'm going in too deep with theories. Miyamoto keeps hinting that we are breaking free from being stuck in the TV, maybe the projection idea???

Source: The CCT Game Calendar; NIBRIS Web Site Date: 11.30.05 The Rumor Report: According to a listing on the CCT Game Calendar 2006, there is a game in development titled Raid on the River apparently in development for Nintendo's next-generation console, code-named Revolution. The site states that the developer NIBRIS is still searching for a publisher. The Rumor Man says: This is a peculiar find. I contacted the head of NIBRIS for further word on this matter, and in response I was told that the developer "would like to do this game directly for Revolution and DS." Apparently, "only Nintendo platforms get this game." In regards to having a development kit, the developer responded, "To be honest - we don't have Revo dev-kit yet - so we do [a] version on PC but we have a lot of ideas how use the Revolution controller." When questioned on whether or not they had found a publisher, the developer head said, "We don't have [a] distributor yet but some of them are speaking with us." In other words, stay tuned to Revolution Report for more information on this promising project.

Nintendo Reality System

i hope nintendo cracks america and makes that fat guy beg for a sdk.

the fat guy in the middle was the epitome of nerdiness, gayness and "oh look at me i'm a big timer". a stark contrast to japanese developers who look beyond massive payouts from sony or microsoft. If Nintendo wins Japan, it will have a good chance of making it big in the US.
-
Well my prediction is, that if Nintendo wins the non-gamer, and then "it sells and sells" it will get the full backing of all small and major third parties in Japan with big titles, Remember (FF going to ps2). If that happens then as you know it games sell systems and this will make the rev take Japan, and as history shows, you win over the japan, you are on course to win the race. If this happens early on, the Rev will get support from Major US third parties, especially once the get their hands on the controller, free online gaming + major 1st person shooters (including Nintendo's rumoured Halo killer) = tapping into to the massive online multiplayer FPS community in the US. This could make the sleek REV win america, Europe would follow suit just through hype and sales figures. All this hangs on the Nintendo's big risk, going for the non-gamer. But if Nintendogs, elektroplankton are anything to go by, the Big N has the expertise and R&D to agressivle go for the non gamers. Nintendo needs to reveal the rest of the iceberg, as i personally believe nintendo will have better graphics than the PS3, how?, do not underestimate the expertise of ART-X (ex silicon graphics engineers) and and Nintendo's experience in making robust, efficient consoles. Remeber the rumour that rev will have "less hardware", well less hardware does not definately mean less performance. If the Controller is not only the part of the revolution, then they may have something bigger to reveal, that they do not want Phony and microcrap to copy. Remember someone saying the revolution lies under the mystery flap, my bet is some sort of portable screen, or player that lets you take the rev with you wherever you go, just a wil guess. All Nintendo needs is to get people to turn on the Revolution and make them say "WOW", if they can do that then even Americans will buy it LOL, they will say "Wow, great graphics, i want one" who from the casual, non-gamer would say "wow, great graphics, but how much megahertz and ram does it have" non, only the hardcore minority would do that. All in all, i think the team of Iwata, shigsy and Reggie. are good enough and now humble enough to respect the third parties and deliver the goods to the different markets and beat the arrogant asses of Microcrap and Phony.
