So you've played Tower Control? @Kounan, should we get a tri squad up and running?
-
So you've played... Splat Zones only?
-
Well, I love squads! Squad open...
-
You're in UK? So in half an hour? Sure! Good, I'm coming on in two minutes! Squads, private, or regular?
-
Multiple consoles sharing one Internet line, that is news to me. But still, no independent, offline LAN mode. That's just stupid. Nintendo, of all the console developers, should have this! Offline LAN on Wii U games would make me buy more Wii Us and more Splatoon, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros copies! I'm up for Splatoon this weekend. When are you thinking, dazzy? How about some matches together right now?
-
So, I read about the Splatoon EGX Team Championships 2015. To be able to run tournaments like this, Nintendo has to have a LAN build of Splatoon, right? Then, Nintendo should just get on with it; update Splatoon with these features, and update the Wii U software to allow LAN gaming. I'll then buy three more Wii Us and three more Splatoon discs! I'd love to have groups of friends over to regularly play at least 2v2 Splatoon, and also other Wii U games! http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/09/event_splatoon_egx_team_championships_2015

I'd like to enjoy all art in a complete form, thank you.

Well, I'm back home just now, after a day in Stockholm. So I'll happily join any form of Splatoon multiplayer from now and rest of the evening!
-
My love for Splatoon and Excel made another baby! (Can anyone imagine I would have liked a statistics section in Splatoon? And preferably more extensive than in Mario Kart 8? No way, right?)
-
I'm a Tidy Champion, 34/99, with a 21/7 win/loss ratio! :awesome:
-
Fantastic news! I can't believe Nintendo was about to release a mediocre main series Star Fox game. Huh? Can you say more on the subject?
-
No problem. Just let me know when you're ready, open up a squad, and I'll join your squad within a minute or two. I understand. But 2 weeks is a long wait for proper internet connection!
-
Come online dazzybee! Pestneb hasn't replied yet, and I have a squad open, but am lacking a squadmate!
-
I'm coming on now! What would you want to play? Squads or private battles?
-
So, it is Tuesday... Splatoon now, anyone? @Rummy @DuD @dazzybee @Kounan @BowserBasher @Pestneb

I'd say the maximum length just about exceeds an average SMW course. But remember, here you have both a main and sub canvas at your disposal, so the total length can be considered at least double of an average SMW course. But the height is limiting if you want to do a climbing-type level. I think it was Michael that did some clever trickery with the review copy of the game, and made a level that felt like a tower. He posted a video of the level, and it looks fantastic! The maximum height should have been around 120-150 tiles. What I'd love, is to be able to choose length and height myself, limited only by total area.

240x27 tiles (L x H) for both main canvas and sub canvas.
-
Nobody else seems to be available for Splatoon this evening. But we can twin squad? Would you want that?
-
These do not exist. Double check and triple check hexadecimals before posting, please.
-
Anyone up for some Splatoon this evening? @Rummy @DuD @dazzybee @Kounan I don't think I've played with you previously, but mention you because I saw you in the retired online thread: @BowserBasher @Goron_3 @Pestneb, you're still on a bad internet connection?
-
Up until now I have only played other people's courses, most of them being from this thread. But I have now finally uploaded my first course. It is a very short course, and serves most as a testing ground. I'm free all evening, if you want to play!

I encountered a problem trying to find your latest course. I could not find your course through 'makers', I could only see your first two courses. I had to go to 'courses' and search it using its hexadecimal code. I went back and forth between 'courses' and 'makers', also refreshing the makers list several times did not help. Does the game have a cache problem? Also, what's up with the incredibly ugly course preview images? Both the 'thumbnails' and the level-at-a-glance images are heavily compressed, flooded with compression artifacts. Upon seeing the atrocious thumbnails for the first time a few weeks ago in the review copy Miiverse community, I thought for sure this would be fixed by the time the game launches, but no. This just isn't up to Nintendo's usual visual standards.

I'm ready for splatting. I also texted you on Skype.

I've played all the levels posted here, and followed all of you! I'm still figuring out my first level, and when I have, I'll post it here!
