I think the argument against magnus is mostly hand waving, wheras there is a bunch of evidence to support the narrowing list of candidates for last night's attempted murderer. What I want to know though - If it comes down to Dedede, and you have the choice between no lynch and lynching him, what would you do?

We only know if it's the right guy after we do a lynch. So the only question is do we lynch or not. As you know, we need to lynch to learn more. What I'm saying is if it's two minutes from deadline and you have the opportunity to hammer Dedede, you should do it, because it will be better than failing to lynch.

I still prefer Dedede - chasing potential killers is better surely? If he flips scum that's going to clear me, if he doesn't, it's between me and someone jailkept or someone protecting the right person. Either way it narrows things down quite considerably, and as I said before, we can force Magnus into a hard lie if we trade his life for a track. For example, kill Dedede today, and tonight force magnus to track me, and request the mirror tracker to track me too. If he does it and I don't die, we see who he says I targeted. If it checks out, we don't need to lynch him. If anything goes wrong, we can hammer away. Might be more revealing plan?

I understand and agree with that point on its own merits, but doesn't it make more sense to press that tomorrow after we have secured a Dedede lynch? This is going to bring us much closer to a concrete killer at the moment.
