Yeah like Serebii said, it needs to be open on the phone, but you can minimise it, switch to another app and lock you screen - something the stand alone app does not allow, you have to have it open and in use with the screen unlocked to do anything.

Mine arrived today too, its not bad really AND does count steps with the app running in the background! Its nice really and allowed me to easily acquire pokestops and a few pokemon (2 abra? i barely see any) on my commute to work, so i can see it really streamlining the game but the thing i can't quite reconcile with myself is that, its like i've just paid to allow the app to run in the background! the standard app does not run in the bakground and doesnt count steps but a £30 device enables this function that is obviously there in app..........it feels like a wierd new paywall and i'm not sure i like that i'm encouraging it

I've been trying to keep up with bethsada statements for Fallout 4 and mods, its been looking this way for a long while, Sony have a cap on mod size that MS do not and thats hindered mods, something sony had been unwilling to change. Bethsada have been quite vocal about the entire debacle and it just seems odd to not allow them, sony are effectively giving the (potentially) better experience to MS and PC without a fight here

I need some advice SO i got the special edition and have all three campaigns I finished the Birthright/hoshido Storyline last night and loved the game spending 75 hours building characters, marrying them off and then marrying up the kids Today i've started the Nohr Questline............... Tell me it gets better! I'm up to the 8th? chapter where you go to the Ice Tribe and its just awful! "oh i'm siding with my adopted family who obviously just killed my real mother brutally, but just so i can find out if my adopted father really intended to sacrifice me" "oh he did try to kill me and my family know now and are scared of him......but we'll try to win his favour by going on a suicide mission" "oh no now the people want to kill me, i best wipe out all the generic troops and spare the leaders" I mean seriously is that what this is going to be, blindly following tasks for the obvious bad guy? surely you rebel at some point right? a quick google search has summaries tells me it gets no better plot wise! the end game is kill your real family to end the war you evil not real father started and put him on the throne...... I normally love Fire Emblem but i feel like i should skip Nohr and move to Revelations, but then do i miss out on overall plot? Characters that you don't get in Revleations and are worth it? I certainly don't want to spend as long on Nohr/Conquest so far

No 4K blueray playback on a machine that has a blueray drive and plays 4K games....a machine designed to shift 4K displays What? I can't see it helping encourage 4k TV uptake if you then need to buy a separate machine to enjoy 4K bluerays. Sure you could 4K stream but its of a lower quality Eh its a hard sell to me this, i don't need a new TV my current ones are very good so cannot justify an upgrade cost of a console and a TV for something that will not provide the complete package so to speak. Once 4K displays have dropped in price considerably this might work If it wasn't for the Scorpio (and after really falling out of favour with Ms this pains me to say) this might sell well, but the scorpio seems the better prospect if you are buying another console, that way you get that entire package and if you already have a PS4 you've then covered all bases for gaming Odd choices really, just odd, it can't cost sony much to include it since they own the tech

The reason Nintendo won't have revealed yet is obviously to wait until after the Neo reveal - they can make some changes to how its revealed and perhaps the hardware after that. I suspect near the end of the month we will get info once the neo reveal has died down a bit. I would be interested to see how that info is revealed anyway, i know in my own circle of friends quite a few are less than happy Sony have an upgraded PS4 coming so soon (especially one who's girlfriend saved and bought him a ps4 for christmas last year), others are dismissing it as irrelevant and only having the guts of the VR system included and one has more money than sense so will buy it day one..... If that sort of mixed reaction is how the general public view it, it would surely affect Nintendo's Launch/reveal window too? Would they take the hit and admit they are doing essentially the same? or delay further?

I think it was a recent windows update causing issues - Recently windows 10 updated for me (say 2 weeks ago) and randomly using PS4 Remote play would cause my graphics card to lock up forcing a hard reboot, early last week Nvidia released a driver update and (touch wood) its not happened since. It was really odd, because it was literally only happening for a week I'd hazard a bet thats a similar issue you are facing, or i hope it is so simple
