The problem with Adventure of Link is that you're sent back to the start if you die three times (it's three times, right?). I don't know why they thought introducing a life system was a good idea -especially not when it's so unforgiving. I think you also lose all of your experience when you lose all of your life? And then there's the fact that it's so easy to be knocked down pits and losing a life that way. The first game can be difficult at times, but there's nothing that kills you in one hit.

Three weeks later, and there seems to be a new mission pack called 'Arrival' on the way.

I haven't really been feeling these last few episodes, but the latest episode was really good.

It's a bit sad/weird how the extent of Smurfette's personality is that she's 'the girl'. It always creeped me out how she was created by Gargamel and made beautiful by Papa Smurf. Apparently Sassette was created in much the same way (though clearly Papa Smurf never got his hands on her, or she'd be a blond bombshell too). God knows how Nanny Smurf was created.

I'm amused by the thought of a Fantastic Four toy set without an Invisible Woman. I love the idea of a generation of little boys growing up with Mister Fantastic and The Thing 2 in a committed relationship when they play with their action figures. This is my favorite example of blatant Kinder Surprise sexism: Oh, how I coveted that nurse dinosaur.

I sometimes think it'd be fun to replay the entire series (especially since I've only played most of the games once), but I'd probably end up giving up somewhere around the second game.

I didn't like the game either, but I think the whole genre just doesn't appeal to me. Killing aliens as testosterone-filled space marines used to be fun, but somewhere along the line, they started taking themselves too seriously. The whole wife side plot in Gears of War 2 was as predictable as it was embarrassing.

Then 11 has to be Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. And 15 is Grabbed by the Ghoulies.

I think people are focusing too much on the wrong part of the hint for number 10. It's probably Dead Rising, which had an unlockable Mega Man outfit.

I find Sue Sylvester/Jane Lynch amusing when she's being mean and insulting people. Not so much when she acts like a comic book villain, though.

The second season hasn't been as good as the first (though the quality dipped already after the initial thirteen episodes), but on the other hand season two has Chord Overstreet, so... The last few episodes have been alright, though. The Superbowl episode was surprisingly good, and the very obvious attempt to appeal to football fans was amusing.

1 looks like Super Mario World. 3 looks like one of those broken stone things from The Minish Cap. 5 is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I think 7 is Super Mario Land 2.
