  1. Welcome back to the supreme race! /s

Looks like a really good setup :D I love the screen, and it looks like you have a big fan already. I would get a mechanical keyboard though, but that's my personal preference. Looking forward to hearing what you think about the super! I'm still stuck on a 1070, and've been holding out on buying one. I think I might wait until august though, and check out the prices of the new 30XX range.

  2. I never got around to playing the original NieR, so I'm glad they announced NieR Replicant ver.1.461614659484685... I really enjoyed the world of NieR Automata, but never got around to play it much, so hopefully NieR Replicant ver.1.86685496894563... is gonna change that. I've also heard about the originals terrible gameplay, so hopefully they will fix that in NieR Replicant ver.1.984616546516...

Are people just going to mash the number pad each time they type it, or copy and paste?

    Weird.

    What are you on about?

  3. Yes, and it is beautiful! The atmosphere is intense and really, really well done thanks to incredible sound and lighting. Headcrabs in VR is a thing that shouldn't exist. I haven't gotten far, just played through three hours or so, but what I've played so far ceirtainly lives up to its "masterpiece" review scores. It is the world of Half Life. You are there, and it is glorious <3

  4. This is really addictive! And the fact that it is free to play, AND cross platform makes me able to play with all my gaming buddies from ages ago :D

The gulag mechanic makes the game more relaxed, to be honest. You can be a bit more aggressive when you play if you haven't been killed and sent to the gulag yet. Because you still have a second chance :) And if you respawn again, you have to be a bit more on edge which I like :D

I would like to have more varied weapons spread out though. I'm kinda tired of seeing RPGs and MG3s all over the place. But you have the loadout drop to counter that, which is really really great! I mean, when you are in a tight spot and you have a load out drop close by, you can risk it and get your favorite gear combination.

And the shooting mechanics is just as good as in regular multiplayer. Which means I actually have a chance in a BR now :D

  5. Valve also released three videos without spoilers. This REALLY brings me back, and I love how true to the original they are. And the combat, exploration and atmosphere just look phenomenal! I can't wait to play this in March! Too bad I can't get the Index headset, or that my VR-space has now become the bedroom for the twins :p. Oh well, I'll manage somehow.

...OH MY GOD, AM I NORWEGIAN!?

Maybe? The only thing I know is that I'm Norwegian :p

Edit: And the coronation of the King is probably as well known as the year 1514 :heh:

  7. I'm really glad you got to try it, and that you had such a great experience :D Welcome to the future! The Quest can only handle so much, but if you play with the Rift S or the Valve Index and a powerful PC, you can truly get some stunning visuals that actually makes you completely forget that you're standing in a small room with a headset on. It's amazing, truly.

Just last night I played Pavlov again after a long break. It's incredible to be able to "travel" to maps that I've been playing on for many, many years, and then just.... being there. It's a bizarre, warm and fuzzy feeling. If you can get your hands on a OG Rift/Rift S/Vive and Pavlov once, I really recommend that you download Outset Island custom map. Chilling around in the world of Wind Waker is sick, and seeing the scale of the world is mind blowing.

  8. To be honest, I think Byleth looks like a cool new character. Sure, he's from Fire Emblem again, but he's really varied from the other characters of that universe. Looks fun. I'll try to join in on the Thursday night Smash chaos when he drops. It will be fun :D

I'm looking forward to seeing what else is coming to Smash in the season 2, but I'm not sure if I'm buying the DLC pack this time. I've not touched Smash in ages, and more fighters are probably not gonna change that. It's always fun watching the indepth videos with Sakurai though, and the reveales for Smash is always something else! Two more years of fun, I say! :D

  9. If there was a "one last thing"-announcement at the end, noone got to see it xD. I doubt it was one though, but it would lessen the impact if noone got to see it during the live stream. Weird how messy this stream was compared to all the previous directs. Hopefully they'll figure it out until the next one.

I've fallen out of love with Pokémon ages ago, so this Direct will most likely do nothing for me.

I'd be happy with another Pokémon Gold/Silver remake, though :p

Pretty much how I feel. I tried to play Let's Go Pikachu, but didn't even get to the third gym before getting bored. I'll probably still watch the direct though.

I've managed to get 5 copies of Yoshi's Crafted World (Digital) from Target for $1 each. Jesus Christ, whoever made that typo is getting the sack.

My payment has gone through but waiting to receive the email. I only need 1 copy so I'll share the rest out if anyone wants to play the game.

    Here's the Target link: https://www.target.com/p/yoshis-crafted-world/-/A-79405697

If you have one available, I'd gladly take one off your hands :D

  12. You tried at least. Too bad it didn't click with you, seeing as the game gets pretty addictive after a while. I've spent so many hours getting rare blades and upgrading them. And the battle system, once you mange to stack orbs and deal insane amounts of damage, is one of the most satisfying systems ever!

If you ever find you have nothing to play, give it another go :D.

  13. Too bad you didn't really feel it, Drahkon. I think I've sunk about 250-300 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and just like you I didn't enjoy my first 10-15 hours.

But when it does click, it clicks oh so well 😍. One of my all time favorite Switch games.
