Just pre-ordered the game (yeah, I know. Shoot me), and I'm gonna be playing this with my mates this weekend during our easter PC-LAN. Looking forward to wreaking havoc on the sea, seeing as me and a buddy made short work of full ships with 4 people last beta round. I had a really good time with the beta, and I'm looking forward to the final game now, but I can't seem to stop thinking this will be a game that will have a great launch, and then just bomb. I dunno, I hope Rare has some amazing content coming in the near future.

This is just looking better and better! Makes me sad that there are no Switch version coming :(. Oh, and Ivy nude PC mods are bound to happen :P.

Yep, with the japanese account I need to buy Nintendo Points from a provider of this, i.e. Play Asia. It sucks, but atleast there is a way to work around the different regions now. On another note; @MindFreak, er du Dansk?!

Can't wait! Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have really done a good job with rebooting the series. Really enjoyed Tomb Raider and Rise, and as a PC gamer, I'm really glad the game goes multiplatform from day 1 this time around.

Gorogoa is amazing! I bought it on the Switch, and that's the first game both my girlfriend AND my parents have bothered to watch me play from beginning to end.

Public beta is up and open to everyone this weekend. Managed to get in yesterday (on PC), but today the servers seem to be full. Hopefully they will fix this by tonight, so I will actually be able to test the game before it releases.

Yeah, an Arms character is pretty much guaranteed to be in the game. They have to build more hype for the game, and the characters are a perfect fit for Smash. I guess either Spring Man or Ribbon Girl. Or maybe they will be the same character with just alternate skins. That should work. I also guess we'll get a pretty nice selection of Splatoon skins on one character (instead of multiple Splatoon fighters. Unless they include the cat. They should include the cat.). I bet you can switch between boy or girl inkling, and boy or girl squid, all based around the same fighter.

OH MAN WAS I EVER THIS WRONG?? After the 3DS part of yesterday's direct, I was just sitting there with a huge grin on my face. When they announced Okami and South Park, I was sold. When they announced Undertale and Little Nightmares, I was blown away. When they revealed Smash, I lost all my shit. This must've been the best direct in years!

I will go digital on this for sure! I mean, if there is one game I ALWAYS want to have with me for a quick multiplayer game, it's Smash Bros. I really, really hope they will add some serious alternative costumes in this Smash game. Thinking of how good Nintendo has been with "cosplay" in their games lately (BotW, Odyssey), it'd be a waste if all we get is "The same costume but with different colors!". Seriously Nintendo, we need to have some awesome costume variants! Let me fight as Odyssey Mario in one game, and polygon 64-version in another. Make it happen!

True enough. At least I will stay away from any hype trains and rumor mills from the Nintendo Switch Reddit. Those guys are mad :P. If there were to suggest anything, the Diablo 3 rumor has been getting traction from other sites, even after Blizzard denied the tweet had anything to do with a Switch version. Not really my game, so I'm not hyped for it, but I hope it will get a lot of new players on to the Switch platform.

I'm not holding my breath for any new games or reveales. Anything new will be an added bonus. In my eyes, this will be more of a promotion for Detective Pikachu and for Aces. Probably some Kirby too.

How do you feel about the value of the DLC? Is it worth the purchase? I mean, I'm really enjoying the game, and if there are more good stories to be had, I'll consider getting it. I'm currently at chapter 6 I think.

Soooo a funny thing happened. I was on a vacation in Australia now, and two days in I started to talk to a dude about drawings and markers. A girl next to me overheard what I was saying, and that I mentioned Copic. She ran inside her apartement, came out after 5 or so minutes and handed me a whole set of 20 copic markers. She bought them 10 years ago for her fashion studies, and she hadn't used them since. She said I could take them if I would get a use from them. Holy cow! I thought this shit just happened in the movies :O. Gave them a spin in Australia, and they are so, so smooth <3. And finally some more of those Nintendo Smash doodles :3.

Been playing through a couple of chapters now during my Australia trip, and this game is just getting more addictive by the minute! I'm currently only at chapter 5, and have about 15 rare blades (most of them from common cores, actually!). I've started doing side quests more and more, and I'm enjoying the grind in this game. Two thing that I think the game is missing though, is a model viewer, which you usually find in JRPGs, and a music player. Some of the tunes are incredible ❤. Like so many othershave said, this is 2017's biggest surprise for the Switch

Being a fan of Tony Taka and his artwork on the series, it's great to finally be able to play one of these games. I'll see what the reviewers say :). And on a side note: Shining, Ys, Xenoblade, Nights of Azure, Fate... The Switch is shaping up to be a nice JRPG/anime console, isn't it?

I'm surprised by the lack pf Metroid in this thread :O. GC for me at least is Metroid Prime, smash and 1080, if you look past the obvious Zelda and Mario titles.
