Its like my family's thing to do, so we go on a holiday together every year usually instead of a nice relaxing summer one. I've been to Verbier, it was good but you need to experience Val d'Isere, renowned as being one of the best resorts in the world simply because its so big (connects to other resorts) and there are slopes/off piste for everyone of all abilities.

I was gonna take my girlfriend but I would get bored with the looking after her thing and she wouldn't want to be a burden. We'll do it some day I'm sure.

Glad you aren't a snowboarder :p Yeah I do dry slope, its crap but it means I get to practice most weeks so I put up with it.
