I didn't feel like crying during teh ending of this as someone suggested earlier, but I went and watched the end of MGS4 (i'm never going to play it tbh as I hated it when I owned it before) and man, that ending hit hard, especially watching it so soon after just finishing MGS 3

Just finished this amazing game. The story was so good and the ending cutscenes and plot revelations caught me off guard.

Hey guys, quick spotpass weapon query, does the game need to be turned on and then put in to sleep mode to receive the spotpass gems? I didn't get one yesterday and not today either?

Slightly disappointed with my monster cards, I wanted Medusa, but hey, 10 booster packs on there way to me!! [/img]

Managed to perfect all three level yesterday, shame there doesnt seem to be any reward for doing this in the full game....day 1 for me.

Having never played MGS3 for more than 5 minutes, but loving MGS 1 and 2, I picked this up off ebay for £24 even though the demo didn't impress me due to the controls and I turned off after a few minutes. Put 4 hours in to it so far last night and this morning, and it's awesome. Looks and soudns great, camera controls took a short period of getting used to, but throughly enjoying it so far, the plot is awesome.

Oooooooh. One of the only non-Nintendo games coming out before christmas that I'm actually interested in. Gaijin have confirmed recently it will come to Europe, they just aren't sure when =[ I was worried we might not get this. http://twitter.com/#!/GaijinGames/status/82873026609291264

We didn't get the .Hack//GU series either =[

Cool. if this is a superior translation then I accept it. I just hate the ambiguity surrounding it now, just explaining it as "something outrageous" really is a let down.

Where is this "cleaner" source from as it differs from the "The Hylia" one ever so slightly, and changes the context of the key area we are discussing.

I said until I read it with my own eyes, so no need to get sarcastic with your smiley bud. A random users word does not mean anything to me, so you saying "that is how it went" doesn't prove anything. Thanfully a fellow use has linked me to the article, and upon reading that, it sounds exactly like the way I put it

Until I read it in an interview i'll take all that with a pinch of "fan theory" lol.

Where can I pre-order this online?

Got a £25 Love to Shop voucher coming my way tomorrow and even though this wasn't on my list to buy when I get my 3DS on payday (28th) I think i'm gonna put the voucher to use and use it against this a couple days later. Anyone know if the demo is going to be readily accessible from the get go?

No. Don't be silly. I think it falls more in line with NoE being tight.

So wait, correct me if i'm wrong but are there really no games being released after Dream Trigger until Driver. That's a seven week barren spell.

Any word on Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked for Europe. Just looked at Gamefaqs and the European release schedule looks very thin.

Fable/Fable II - Played it for a couple of hours and couldn't see what the hype was about. Found it repetitive and boring. Laughed when i found out i could fart at people, but probably only once. Kingdom Hearts - Loved the story but the game itself was wad especially the gummiship segments and construction. Ico - Went to this title after loving SotC. Could not see what the big fuss was about. Body Harvest - Wanted so desperately to enjoy it, but could never get past level 2 =[ Halo - Yeah, massive letdown. After being convinced to trade my cube for an xbox just to get this, I severely regretted the decision. Could be because I was addicted to GOTY version of Half Life and its various expansions on the PC at the time, but Halo paled in compariosn to the masterpiece. Metal Gear Solid 3 - I absolutely loved MGS 1 and 2, and even enjoyed the hyper extended and BS cutscenes at the end of the second. Suffice to say, I could not enjoy the new camera angle of 3 and the whole snake eater aspect =[ should really get the second version as they added a MGS 2 like camera iirc. GTA IV: Perhaps it is because the only GTA i have enjoyed and finished is the highly stylised, comedic and fun GTA Vice City, but I could not get into the serious overtones of this title. Phoenix Wright JFA: I loved the first title, but got extremely bored of this one when i was doing the third or so case. Stopped playing and never picked it up again. Maybe I should get PW 3? Cybernator - The boxart and designs were great. I sucked as a player and could never complete level 2 as a child. Went back to it recently and blitzed it, but as a kid, not being able to experience its awesomness left me with a bitter taste in my mouth....

You need more than a cable; check google, its easy. Just tyope in record wii gameplay and you'll get loads of results. Here's the first one i found: http://www.wiitube.com/view_question.php?post_id=549&post_type=2 Its for a 360 but it is the same for the wii. You need to plug your wii into your tv, your tv into a device called "dazzle" then that into your pc. OR: If you have a TV tuner card with composit input you can just plug it straight into your pc iirc.

yeah i got ubi confused with activison, so sue me. What i said still serves a point. The people who look to buy COD year on year are the same people who own a ps3 or an xbox. Releasing an inferior product on a weaker console then expecting it to sell just as much is a stupid business plan.
-
By the sounds of it ubisoft aren't making as much as they want to make. However, when you consider a large audience and the poor quality of titles they have put out recently, is it any wonder? I think ubi, barring the launch window, has seen the wii as the fast and easy option to fund their major games. Pump littles cash and few resources into wii titles, meaning more of the turnover is now profit, and then pump this profit into big budget titles that will sell on the HD consoles. Maybe if they used some of the profit on funding bigger and better wii endeavours then their commitment to the console would fuel profit. Alas, what do i know, i.m just a gamer and not a head of a multinational corp.

Ig ubisoft put more money and effort into their wii releases, then maybe, juts maybe they'd see profit. i think some companies felt comfortable just to jump on the casual gaming bandwagon due to the fact that others were seeing success with their titles. However, this in turn over saturated the market and their were too many games that were too similar going for teh same audience. Also, say CoD: WaW, if ubisoft were not happy with the sales, they only have to realise that it isnt the sort of game they should be putting out for the console. If you want a CoD game, you will own a HD console due to the fact it is a graphical monster with amazing online. Wii games should be original/unique titles to the wii, not ported titles with tacked on motion controls. I think too many companies fail to realise this, and when Fifa 10 for wii doesnt sell as well as Fifa 10 for 360......they think "why bother with the wii". the fact of the matter is they never bothered with the wii in the first place. They just dumped a graphically and online inferior title into the market place, and expected it to sell. However, the wii audience is to blame for this as well. If original and decent rated titles like NMH and A Boy and his Blob sold as well as they should, then the proof of a good market is there. But when wii owners get the titles they are demanding, yet do not buy, then what else is left than a massive WTF in the heads of company CEOs all arond the world?

Just completed it earlier today. Brilliant little game. 20 hours and i'm at 75% so may invest some more time into it at a later date to reach 100%. The last couple of missions were immense =]

I hope it isn't so, but I seriously can see no other alternative. The wii, the amazing and unique console it is, is being left behind by the graphical powerhorses of the 360 and the PS3. This means that third party titles are primarily going to those consoles. However, it is not just the power of the other consoles, it is also the predictability of the audience that is attractive. Why would a third party company pump money into a game for the wii when there is an audience who seems content with ignoring top quality games?
