Ha I wouldn't worry who you insult since this is all going through me, but he's the bassist (blonde haired kid). Yeah i've always told them that they stick a little close to the newer LTJ tracks, especially with there lyrics, but i've been working with them on some stuff thats a little more different, so that should be cool. Thanks for your feedback. Concert went great for those wondering (well apparently, I went drinking in the end).

THE HABERDASHER He has the innate (wtf does that mean) ability to make your shoes one size smaller than you had asked, so they fit, but they're very very uncomfortable. FEAR HIM

Granted that is bad, but if they get the Wiimote working with it, i'll forgive it all.

Falafelkid says Wii launch info before Sept 14th
LazyBoy replied to canand's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I couldn't give a crap who the guy is. That was my point. Look, you can do one of two things here. Believe the guy, and wait watching the clock until this happens and be relieved, and be disapointed when it doesn't, or not give a shit, let it happen when it does and be happy either way. I'm not saying this couldn't happen, it's just i'd prefer to believe it won't, so i'm not disapointed when it doesn't because I bought into some "trusted" journalists opinion. NGC was where I first heard about the Zelda controls. -

That's crap. Its not that it is totally unbelievable, it's just my mother told to never trust someone called Falafelkid. We'll find out on the 14th. Be patient. -

I'm not worrying. These are first generation games, rushed to launch, and the developers are probably spending most of their time getting used to the WiiMote. I paniked when GC and DS came out, and my fears were calmed when the 2nd/3rd generation games came out, so i'm staying calm and trusting this time. Once MP3 comes out you'll see what this thing can really do, if anything can push the Wii it'll be Retro. And honestly the problem of graphics not getting more photo-realistic is not a big thing for me. I mean I saw the video for Heroes yesterday, and I was thinking why there aren't more games taking risks with their graphics like that, and actually physically looking different. That's what I want to see, am I alone here?

I believe Mask can, but it takes some work. You're best sticking with Con and turning and running. Cloudman is a tough level, but after the game starts to get real good.

Do you mind telling me how it is exactly that anti-matter is created? It has just always fascinated me.

Portman is frigging brilliant in Garden State. She just needs a good script to show what she can do. Click - New Adam Sandler movie in which he finds a remote control that can control real life e.g. rewatch parts of his life, fast forward through stuff he doesn't want to see/do, mute people talking. It sounds kinda lame and predictable, and it is at parts. Luckily once it gets into the movie it gets better, and due to the fact that Sandler thankfully doesn't just churn out the same jokes as other Happy Madison films and goes for a new style of comedy, which makes for some very funny moments. In fact the end is reminiscent of Big Daddy, as in the emotions he was trying to get out of the audience, and although it is not as good, it still had an effect. 7/10 - give it a go Miami Vice - This movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but that doesn't make it good. Too many accents and over-complication of something very simple, combined with Colin Farrell's acting skills (or lack thereof) make this a deceivingly vacuous movie. 5/10 - meh

Alright, so we're getting the back room done, and getting a bit more space in there, so we want to fit it with a new T.V. and stereo system, and convert to a freeview box. Problem is I don't know anything about technology, so basically i'm asking help from you guys, along the lines of picking me a T.V. and stereo system. Then I need to know how to link it all up with a freeview box. Here's a picture of my back room: http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=main/8/21614183911.jpg&s=f10 The T.V. will go on that big white piece of wall, just above the fireplace. As you see the room itself is not that big, so even though the space itself would fit a 54", a 38" or maybe 42" T.V. will do just fine. I'm looking at around £1500 for speakers and T.V., willing to go £2000 max. Thanks, any help would be great.

And it's a decent T.V.? Screen quality, sound and all that jazz, all up to scratch? And does the freeview come with the recording and programme storing ability, or is it just the basic package? Thanks again

Agreed, solid magazine. Nice and thick and very little padding. Plenty of reading.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I frigging hated the Spiderman movies. X-men (1) and Batman Begins were the only comic book movies of this generation of films that I liked. I'll check this out I think. Oh and pirates of the Caribbean 2 sucked ass. But then again I didn't like the first one.
