If I was a faithful I'd have wanted him out from the word go because he only muddied the waters, ultimately teeing it up for the traitors to slip through the roundtables. And getting trapped with the loot on that mission!! Self-absorbed dimwit. What're you saying we've been elusive? Been avoiding this thread until I could wrap it up, which I did this evening then watched the finale of Uncloaked (but none of the previous) and a pair of interviews on Radio 2. Last few episodes was a bit like watching dominoes fall despite some jeopardy right at the end. Infuriating watching them deduce like dummies but that's what makes it a fun watch. Got your sob story drafted for your season 3 application?

Yeah the commentators never seem to be able to just mention these things in passing. The other week, I watched back the 1992 Rumble and they don't half let the cat out of the bag banging on about Ric Flair all the time. Sure he went in early but no need to make it obvious what's unfolding.

I bow to your superior knowledge in these things, but I did pick up an issue or two of Uncanny X-Men a dozen plus years ago and it was like an alternate reality or something. Wasn't like the cartoon as I'd hoped.

It really was/ is. Lofting and holding onto one-twos, having the receiving player make a run before releasing a through ball*, Z trigger + direction to apply curl, step overs and more. So much depth, a dream to play. The scenarios were a great inclusion, too. No mention of Tony Gubba's commentary? Big head mode made for a good laugh and all... to alleviate the tears when your controller pak data corrupted. Gameplay > licenses. Thanks to the smooth motion capture it looked realistic enough if you squinted slightly at the TV unlike Fifa 64 and/or 99 about which NMS said it looks like the players are running to the bog. * I'm possibly listing refinements to one-twos and through balls from ISS 98, not sure any more. Coq sportif.

It's PS6 or doomed at this point, innit.

Makes me remember I always wanted to play Dual Heroes. And Aero Gauge.

Reckon I'll go the Kindle route too based on the pricing. I'd think I was in the epilogue portion of the game now if I hadn't checked the chapter count online back during the game trial to judge my chances of finishing this for free. There were some nice scenes with the entire group of castaways and I even got to see a snippet of what it looks like when they're doing their part during raids. After some consideration, I opted for "Let's Avenge the captain! Together!" because I decided it'd be what they'd want to hear to gee them up. With Oceanus (weird they say it "oaky" with a hard c), our biggest threat to getting safely off the island out of the way, Dogi and co just need to wrap up the shipbuilding and we're off... or so you'd think. There are still a few areas I need more castaways to access and adventure gear to get, so the Valley of the Kings must be about to cough up something to string us along some more. Which is fine by me, needing to see the final FMV isn't what's been propelling me through—there's a definite hint of investigative metroidvania to how I've been going about things. I just can't help but assess where else I can go each time I nudge the story destination forward. The segmentation of the island is a benefit, imo. It's upfront with what each locale contains. Love that from pretty much everywhere you can look around and see smoke wafting up from the distant basecamp. Though it always makes me wonder why the castaways you come across—especially those that seem to be coping just fine on the hostile island—didn't try to get there themselves. Noticed I've been dependent on the potions that replenish 60% of your HP a pop. Think I should have a go at cooking since I've amassed a decent list of recipes by this point. Also behind with weapon upgrades for the first time in a while and there's always Master Kong to catch up with... so perhaps before progressing the story a few detours are in order. I want castaway Silvia to come out and about with us. If she was an active party member we'd rip this island to shreds in two shakes of a primordial's tail.

He might be better suited overseeing the VAR storylines. Royal Rumble tonight boys.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
darksnowman replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Luigi (COM) being awarded a random star on the first turn set the tone until Mario later picked up three stars (legit, stolen, random) in a single turn. Looked like Mario Party was for the Mario Bros. Still don't know how Yoshi eked out the win. Hectic. I spent the first while online trying to find out what the items do—forgot it was so item-heavy. How easy these things slip your mind in the intervening decades. Totally missed why there was another five turns after it said last turn. Thought I'd check but it said 0 people were in the room. Just wanted to say bear with me if I was grinding it to a halt too much checking descriptions. -

Put the CPU on easy if he doesn't and it'll be all the same. -

End up? Go on then, I'll sub in for a board. Don't think I'll stay on for the rest of the festivities so I'll bow out after that. Whenever you're finished playing that game with knock-off art from another established game series we'll get down to it. -
Haha, yes. I played through it a few times with the Lylat voices but with the full-voicing of the game in English being so novel (and so well done), I had to revert to it. Always heard their garbled speech in weird ways since the first time I played Starwing. Like, "refurnish!" for scramble and "d'you read me, jab?" for Falco's voice clip.

F-Zero 99 (Available Today! - 14th September 2023)

Always loved when it through up a track with a jump on a right-angled corner. Most of the CPU, if not all, couldn't handle it and it'd pretty much guarantee you top the podium. -
Joy-cons: check. Pre-order swag: check. Next off the production line should be amiibo, then.

Good shouts. All games I skipped so likely right enough. Well, I later got Snap unboxed but you know what I mean.

Hard to think of anything beyond Majora's Mask that didn't follow that template. I always found it disconcerting the way cardboard insert worked—it was like Game Boy boxing except upside down. Ropey. Wished those carts were fully insulated like SNES games.

Silver lining that they kept the news under their hats until Gerrard extended his contract at Al-Ettifaq. It's been said that Alonso has some sort of gentleman's agreement with Leverkusen that they won't stand in his way if a big club comes in. Likely as good an option as any but I don't want to jump ahead and think about what comes next yet. Could just as easy be LFC back in the doldrums.

This is the what I heard the audio of on the radio. Apparently the higher-ups have known since November. Klopp hugs all round.

Jurgen says he's leaving at the end of the season.

Wonder what sort of hodgepodge Mute City I + Mute City II makes if it isn't Mute City III. The X Cup must still be on their minds. -
Lylat Wars was, as far as I remember, the first Nintendo game we got that was fullscreen. I think until that point only Rare was putting out N64 games that were properly optimised for PAL tellies.

Apparently if the F-Zero 99 mode is glitching out, you can vote for ??? to have the chance of competing on a secret track, which is a mashup of two existing tracks. Haven't been on the game myself but I still wanted to know what these secret tracks are all about. -
Thanks for the races. Getting the winter version of the AC track was a treat.
