Thanks for that old Ninja. Ive not played this in a couple of days now but after a quick skim of the last few pages Im kinda glad to see that, maybe, the good points of the game are gonna get focused on for atleast a few posts. I still think it rocks, but Ive not been rushing to much with it. I would say that its disappointing that it appears that you cant talk to every single person in Castle Town. Strange one, but I can cope.

Nice spot on the Queen parallels. I woulda said it but feared being slated incase some of you hated the idea of the lowly Muse being compared to such world beaters as Queen. Dont you think the guitar in Take a Bow has the same Queen-esque quality about it? Well it does. :p "Take a booh, son. Take a booh." says Andy Grey on the matter. Bob, I dunno what youre on laddo but Citizen Erased remains my favourite Muse song. Knights isnt quite that good... though have you seen the video? Its extremely good, find and watch it if you havent already.

I caught a bunny or two yesterday, but I couldnt keep it long as there was lots of oncoming Rabbids that needed a plunger in the face. Ive over 80% done now and Im an absolute hero. Like I said, around the midway mark, the spectators are bored and fed up, but now with my contined success they love me. Its really cool to be in there and see the "We Love You Ray" and whatnot around the place. And the fireworks going off over head. If only I could take a bow for them! Last I did was Bunnies Like to Recycle Scenery From Other Games... did it seem recycled? I wasnt so sure. If it was, I mean, sure I'd been through a few Wild Wild West themed levels already... so Im not sure what they were getting at. Once I get the Story completed Ill be spending my free time in Score Mode trying to unlock the bonuses through that. Ive two so far, but Ive only been in Score Mode about three times so far. (P.S. More people need to by this game, this thread keeps slipping off the first page here. Its still too early for that to happen!)

Incredible thread! How'd it get to a third page before my input? Did no one miss me?! Muse are without a doubt my favourite music makers out there. From the humble beginnings of Sunburn right through to the Western/ Sci-fi/ Dark Tower/ epic/ of Knights of Cydonia theres rarely a moment that lets you down. The thing is though, Im listening to them less and less these days, but I find I rarely listen to any music at the mo. The newest albums just full of the different direction that I love Muse for, but I even found it hard to get into. Knights o' Cydonia, I thought was rather... wick. I thought it was too cheesy and that it did lots of the wrong things... this was largely due to me following the progress of the new album before it came out and becoming accustomed to this song being dubbed Citizen Erased II... so naturally I was hugely let down. However, when I saw them live at the start of November and they closed with it, I was a changed man. Simply sublime. It didnt seem cheesy at all and I didnt want it to end when it got to the total rock out stage at the very end. I have to say one other thing though: I think Stockholm Syndrome was a great closing tune as well, honestly. I found it weird hearing it in the middle of their performance in the Odyssey, plonking it in there made it more forgettable if you know what I mean...?

I got this solved, luckily but it had me worried for a while. Last night when I was saving and returning to the Wii Main Menu before I would have turned it off... the thing stopped reading the controller! It just happened instantly and Id no clue what to do. I changed the batteries, I tried resynching it... I reset the machine and everything. Yet there was no pointer coming up on the screen, urgh. In the end as a last resort, I pulled the plug on the Wii and then powered it up again. Somehow it was all systems go once again. So do tell, what happened that caused this "there one minute, gone the next" bother I had with the 'mote?!

That tunes a nice one, Mr. Echo, its a little more like a typical Zelda game than the one in Twilight Princess. I kinda wish they'd managed to get the classic Zelda theme in TP but hey, you cant have it all and the Hyrule Field music we have is pretty great nonetheless. Anyway, last night from before 6pm until just after midnight, I played this game - with only one quick tea break. Flip but did the time fly in! I couldnt believe it was so late and Id played for so long without realising. 6h 30mins, check the records that the Wii keeps, if you dont believe me. So what did I do during that time? Well I get the feeling that Im the furthest behind with Twilight Princess outta all you guys who've completed it already, but Ill still be putting it in spoilers on the off chance anyones just starting the game.

Good find. I hope to see a good resurgence in this thread now as Im absolutely positive people are gonna be snapping this up. What a game and what a price. I think I put this as my No. 1 GameCube game. Its the epic stuff that legends are made of chaps. You heard the boy, theres no excuse for anyone not to have and love this now.

Can I just say DanielTimothy, what happend to you? Hows about choosing only ten games so that Zechs can get the ultimate list compiled for the GameCube. Your just cheating boyo, sort out your positions nine and ten! :shock:

Well, Ive actually put quite some thought into this: 1- Skies of Arcadia: Legends 2- Tales of Symphonia 3- Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance 4- Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem 5- F-Zero GX 6- Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker 7- Super Mario Sunshine 8- Starfox Adventures 9- SSX 3 10- Splinter Cell There, so tough to decide but Ive tried to be fair on everything I own... I made a shortlist o' fifteen an whittled em down for you. In no particular order MK: DD, Paper Mario: TTYD, Pikmin 2, BG & E and Baten Kaitos: EW & TLO just didnt make the cut. Cube TP would be numero uno if I had it, its so good, even on Wii!

Is that... Desmond in your avatar, brother? Id say aswell that you'd be as well to get in touch with them yourself and see if they can give you an estimation. Is there still set to be shortages with Wii's into the New Year or is it all gonna get cleared up pretty sharpish?

Ok, a re-listen later and I'd say they both have a good atmosphere so ha. The second one though is more epic or something and would sound great if it was used in the advert for the game. (Or was that too positive a post for this thread? If so then just pay attention to this: both were the utter pits. My ears bleedeth and my heart yearneth for the golden days of Snes game music. F-Zero, DKC, Pop n Twinbee, how we have fallen from such heights.)

Lol Flaight, Ive only caught a bunny once or twice. I did it by pure instinct (fluke) in the mine-type level and managed to release it and knock down a line of oncoming Rabbids, Wii Sports stylee. But Ill try that and see what the consequences turn out to be... Ive done about 2/3's of this game now and its really good. I play it about two days in a sitting and maybe that helps keep it fresh. The Rabbids are too cool, they better get to feature in more games cos if they do, I could be turned into a Rayman fan. My cell is well furnished now and just when I came back from the last day I did, there was a line of bunnies and a red carpet, I thought that was class. Its so full of character and some of the music has a hint of past Nintendo/ Rare charm about it.

Were both them trailers... the same... or did I click the same one twice. I guess the first time through it was better then They both made the game look great, and if it was still a game we were anticipating then I'd be dying for it to be released.

Thanks for the solution, I was thinking of going escapading about but then thought better of it for some reason... fell to my death a few dozen times trying to descend and well, then, thought it was time to unwind a bit with the Rabbids. Perhaps its back to Zelda I shall go later! : peace:

What a list. Id noticed the Malo and Talo = Marin and Tarin thing. Just like I noticed in Ocarina o' Time that Malon and Talon = Marin and Tarin. I think its a nice touch and they should continue it. Before Third Level...

Tell me about it. Why isnt there an option in Rayman: Raving Rabbids so that you dont have to move your arms like a loon when playing it. I mean, a simple option. Now if I want to play the game like any normal person would, Im gonna have to fork out for a Playstation 2 and another copy of the game. What a bunch of money grabbing jokers. *slits throat*

Ive not posted my top ten yet, though Id like to say that the idea of doing a GameCube specific chart now that we've moved onto the Wii is a pretty darn good idea. The big vote the other year was good fun, but its too soon for another. Dont you think we need some time with the Wii so that it has a fair chance to get titles into peoples top five of all time...? (Plus, before we do that Big One again, Im gonna have to have a good think to remember what I voted in it and if thats changed!)

would one purchase it? Do you remember a while ago that there was all the chatter about the possibility of GameCube games being rereleased on the Wii, incorporating Wii controls? Well, now that we have out Wii's, you've tinkered with the Virtual Console and have contrasted the old playing style with the new... what do you think? Me, for the right price, I'd like to get my hands on these... what games though and why? Well, having Red Steel and not having Resident Evil 4, Id buy it. Also, Id maybe rebuy Metroid Prime to see if I could get into it with some Wiimote action. Killer 7 aswell could be fun. The thing is though, these arent really needed. The only reason that I think Nintendo should release these would be if for some reason theres a shortage of new Wii games in the pipeline. Hopefully that wont be an eventuality and most of the games out on the Cube warrant a proper Wii sequal anyway, not just a quick wiimake. Whats the consensus now that the Wii is actually here?

fanman, without favourising anyone here too much, Solitanze does actually contribute with decent points and ideas now and again. You just have to look past the whole gamerankings shenanigan.

If he gives them both a fair chance and does a good review and comparison then I think alot of people here could do with seeing it. Wind Waker was largely hated at the time and up until Twilight Princess came out, now cos apparently Twilight Princess lacks imagination and actually inculdes all kinds of stuff that people wanted Wind Waker to be... TP is worse and one o' the worstest games ever to grace us. Twilight Princess is a great, great game. Embrace it!
