This. Dragon Quest VIII remains one of my favourite games ever. Having recently finished Ni No Kuni, I did like it but not as good as Dragon Quest VIII. Also this whole announcement of Level 5 developing a game for PS4 makes me want Sony's console more than Microsoft. Decisions....

Really want this. Anyone found any decent prices for this? Money is tight at the mo, and the cheapest I've found is £25 on Amazon...

Personally, I loved season 2 and have found season 3 to be pretty disappointing, especially the finale which just recently aired. But as someone else mentioned, I watched season 2 episodes back to back, and remember loving it. Alot. With season 3, I've been watching it as its been aired, and found episodes to lack bite (pun intended). They just didn't advance the story much, nothing significant happened and found it boring tbh.

Wouldn't be missing out on much then eh?

Glad I'm not the only one that felt the Uncharted series is overrated. Don't think I'll bother persisting with the series. I've just finished the first and its frustrated me more than any other game this generation (maybe in my whole gaming experience). Surprised as it seemed like my cup of tea. There is a decent game underneath, just coated in too many niggling gameplay mechanics, clumsy controls, shite aiming and platforming lol. Disappointing. I'm hoping Tomb Raider doesn't let me down now!

Hey guys, just wanted your opinions on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. This is the first in the Uncharted series and I am yet to play 2 and 3, but this first outing is so frustrating. Enemies take a ridiculous amount of bullets to die, repeating waves upon waves of enemies to kill, clumsy controls in platforming and physical combat is atrocious. I've just finished the jet ski level which was also ridiculous. Jet skiing up a downward stream, with you having to control the jet ski (awful, awful controls there) as well as shooting enemies? I meant, WTF? Then the game throws those silly exploding barrels at you to make life even more frustrating. Now, I don't mind a challenge but this game is just downright frustrating. I've heard the series does improve, but does anyone else share these thoughts on the fist game?

Been playing through MGS4 and I'm disappointed. The first 2 acts were brilliant but having just finished the third act (following someone for 10 minutes - the rest, cutscenes), its really getting laborious playing this. And that's coming from a die hard MGS fan. I started a session about an hour ago and am yet to actually 'game', it's just full of cut scenes. I didn't think the cut scenes were over bearing in the previous games but this is taking the piss slightly. Disappointed. I'm hoping acts 4 and 5 make up for the bollocks that was act 3.

Absolutely loving it so far. Having only recently acquired a PS3 (long time 360 owner, borrowing mate's PS3 for Ni No Kuni), 360 owners are missing out on one of the best games this generation. Loving it.

I completely agree with you dude except for the Mass Effect series. Really loved them but I've tried Fallout 3/Skyrim and just didn't get along with it. It doesn't look appealing (to me) and having tried to get on with it, it wasn't happening! Anyways as a newly recent user of the PS3, I've been playing Ni No Kuni alot. 43 hours in so far and its getting better and better. If you like JRPGs then this is an essential purchase. Funny how you lot mentioned MGS4 because I bought myself a copy of it this afternoon! Being a long time MGS fan (and 360 owner) makes me very excited about this purchase. I've played 2 hours of it so far, and yep, it's amazing. I wonder if it can beat one of my fave games ever MGS3... Anyways, having these 2 titles on the go means that my gaming life is very fulfilling at the moment!

Good to know there's a squash fan on these boards! I love the sport and is probably the main form of release/sporting activity for me. Really lucky that I've got a squash club 5 mins away from me. My neighbour an I play at least twice a week, and find it to be a great workout. Just wanna improve my fitness on the court. You have any workouts that would be good, particularly for squash?

Ahh all the reviews and positive comments on this thread make me want this game so bad! Currently playing through Ni No Kuni though. I'm hoping that by the time I've finished that, Tomb Raider may have gone down in price too! Win, win

Currently 20 hours in and enjoying it so far. Been doing most of the sidequests (which have taken up most of my time) and now I'm gonna grind some new familars to a decent level before leaving for Hamelin. Boo ya! P.S This is the perfect game to have while being unemployed

I have finally had the chance to play this wonderful game - borrowed a mate's PS3 and bought myself a copy of the game! Started playing a few days ago and I'm 10 hours in, having just finished the Temple of Trials. I've spent a fair amount of time levelling up as I've found this game can be very unforgiving. Anyways, the game itself looks beautiful...time to go catch some familiars for the first time...BOO YA

Looking forward to the new DLC tomorrow! Been dying for a new game to get my hands on.

Same here. Hope Sony use this opportunity to get us truly excited about the next gen. Alot of hype so far....

Despite being delayed, I don't mind, I'm sure Bioware will do an amazing job as usual. I know I'm late to the party, but I only bought Mass Effect 2 a few months ago (for £12!) and I'm absolutely loving it. I played the first when it was released all that time ago but I can't remember enjoying it as much as I am the sequel. It's freakin amazing. I've put about 25 hours into the game and can't get enough! Downloaded the Lair of the Shadow Broker and played through most of it this morning. Blew me away. Don't want ME2 to end!!

I actually love you. Might as well give my opinion on it....I found it too confusing. Call me stupid, slow or retarded but thats my opinion. I can appreciate what its trying to do but I couldn't keep up.
