Thanks Emasher! I really loved the N64 Pokemon Stadium games and that is what this seems to play like but with online added, this makes me a very happy man. Lets just hope our US Diamond/Pearl works with the UK version of Battle Revolution.

I set up my Wii last night what with the release of R Evil 4 drawing nearer and thought I would give the Striker Cup another shot now that I have my memory card and to my relief the memory card trick worked. I now had the ability to save my progress and then if I got beat to start from where I saved from. Needless to say I got the cup and now the game is full finished as I beat the challenges a while back. Back on the shelf it goes while I await for the arrival of R Evil.

I know what you mean. I was going to go with Darkness and Overlord but went with Darkness and R Evil 4 on the Wii instead. I will get Overlord at somepoint as I loved the demo.

That exactly why I buy and love Nintendo consoles/games. I have said many times over the years that despite many developers making great games Nintendo always seem to have the best games. I have braved through all of the Nintendo eras and despite the N64 and the Cube lacking 3rd party support I didnt really care aslong as I had my 1st party titles. So,what do I want from the Wii in the future? Plain and simple, just more 1st Nintendo games!

Now that the game is out in the US I thought I would bump this topic up for the people who have got it on import or just live over there. Emasher, you fancy giving us some impressions of what the game is like? Cheers.

Ok, hands up all of those who are sick of the lack of action/adventure games on the Wii and with the delays of certain titles from one region to another. Also raise your hand if you have complained about these topics on here other message boards. *HoT slowly raise his own hand as he looks for other to do the same* This is something that I talked about recently in another topic and its something that I have been thinking about while at work. There are alot of us complaining about the lack of "real" games out on the Wii and also the delays in the titles that we are getting. The delay thing can easily be tackled, we live in Europe people and we have always been treated this way. No matter how much we want the games its very very rare that we get them the same time or even before America or Japan. By now we all should be used to this kind of treatment so really we should just get over it. Now that the starter is over with its time to tackle the main course, the lack of "real" games. Looking at the titles that are out at the moment on the Wii you can really see that developers didnt exactly have faith in the Wii at all. The console has been out here 7 months and the majority of the games that are out are mini game collections and ports with tacked on controls. This is one of the main reasons why so few decent titles have arrived as developers clearly underestimated what the people wanted and they have been took by suprise by the success of the Wii. Lets try to be patient and give the developers more time to unleash the potential of this console. So, what can we all do while we wait for this potential to be unlocked? Well there seems to be something that alot of people have forgotten about and that is that the Wii is many consoles in one. It has an ever increasing back catalogue of games released every week but the main thing I want to concentrate on though is the Cube compatability. How many of you own a Cube or even got rid of the machine but kept the games? Alot of you I figure. Now how many of you have played through all the games you got or even wanted on the Cube? You see the point im trying to make is ( yes im dragging on abit, sorry ) that the Wii already has a great amount of "real" games at its disposal, we just havent been looking. I have got sitting on my shelf such games as Beyond Good and Evil, Prince of Persia Trilogy, Ikaruga and Pokemon XD that have NEVER been played and there was me kicking off as the Wii had no good games. There are bound to be games on your shelf just waiting to be played or even games that you never had the chance to play on the Cube before hand. Go into your nearest games shop and go find these games and pick them up for what will no doubt be a pretty cheap price now that the Cube has been declared dead. Even if you have got all the games you want on the Cube then fire up classics such a Metroid Prime, Wind Waker or Tales of Symphonia. So, in closing, the next time there is a drought on the Wii take a look at the Cubes collection. Yes sure they are classed as old games now but an old game that you have never played before will over new experiences. End of rant, sorry if the spelling paragraphs etc suck but its 6 in the morning and I just got in from work : peace:

I won this off ebay yesterday so I should get it sometime this week, I will post impressions when it arrives.

Yeah, Hellfire posted it in the 360 topic a few weeks back, still funny as hell though. I personally think the Crackdown part is the best, just the way he looks so sad is hilarious.

Just a very quick snippet from this months Nintendo power...

Its much, MUCH easier than the 1st GRAW. You can easily start the game on Hard and get through it in a day. I talked to Gameplay regarding my copy of The Darkness ( and R Evil 4 ) and the Royal Mail Strike, their answer wasnt very convincing ( check R Evil 4 thread in Wii board ) so methinks I will cancel my order and pick it up at a shop come Friday.

Thats exactly what im doing and yes it is easy but it gets really REALLY tedious. I usually guard 7 rounds and that usually does the job.

Well I have just contacted Gameplay and got a worrying reply from them. I asked would I still get my games for release day this week and they replied " We cant really say and we dont want to speculate what will happen but we still have games for preorder, thanks " Looks like I will be getting R Evil 4 from a shop rather than Gameplay now.

Agreed Did you guys know that Prime died AGAIN in the Japanese Headmasters series!?? Very true. I go through phases with the Wii, somedays I love it but thats when im not lying on my bed chilling out. Others I hate it, that IS when im chilling out lying on my bed. The Cube I loved from the start to the very end, hence my collection of games on it. I think I have played most of the good games so far though. I have owned/own... I was with the DS lol! Thing is though there were still "normal" games to play. The Wii, at the moment, is just mini game collection after mini games collection. Also, the way that we are getting treated in terms of releases is a disgrace. Nintendo promised that this kind of thing wouldnt happen again yet it seems we have got stiffed when it comes to Super Paper Mario, Eledees, Trauma Centre and now Mario Party. Ok so Nintendo might not be able to do anything in regards to 3rd party titles but with their own they need to get their fingers out. I really do long for regular game on the Wii as do others hence the outcry of everyone wanting SPM. Im glad R Evil is out this week as it will give me something to play on my Wii. In terms of graphics I think that the Wii is fine just aslong as developers do their job and push the machine to its limits. I dont really care if its a super Gamecube as the Cubes graphics were fine to me.

Come E3 we will see how well Metroid works with the control scheme. Its annoying because I really love Nintendo, they are my favourite games company, but in this latest gen im really finding it hard to stick with them. Hopefully E3 will get me back into the fanboy mood.

Just about everyone made it out to be bad. All the reviews said the same thing about it when it got released, the game had been cutout and looked ugly on the 360. I wouldnt know as I havent played one PES since the 1st one on the PS2. I will say that it is alot easier than that one though.
