How are people "sure" they'd reduce the price?! They didn't do so with the WiiU!

This is what I was saying. In its current state it's stupid. It should be on the console.

Nintendo are like a pet dog. They used to be amazing, you used to have the best of times, so much fun. Now they're old, on their last legs, deaf and half blind. It needs putting down but you love it and it pains you to do so!

You can tell the Switch started out as an Iwata project that Kimishima took over. Iwata: Let's combine the Wii and WiiU, that'll do it. That'll bring everyone back. Kimishima: We probably best do something to improve the online and social features of this... best we can do now is add an app. It's too late to put in the device itself.

Well you'd just slap the phone in your pocket and have your hands-free headphones in... but, what about the interrupting noises of the phone? Phone calls, texts, notifications... also, smart device batteries aren't exactly great, this will be yet another drain on them! People will be playing and voice chat will cut out as their phone battery will have run out. All in all it's stupid.

Not a chance! You sync the Switch with a smart device to use basic online online features? And for this we pay?!! Add to that the rip-off price for it & its accessories and you get a very big "hell no" from me. I'll pass on the Switch!

Mario looked absolutely joyous and Xenoblade 2 looked epic too... but that Zelda trailer, just wow! Wow! I hope it releases on WiiU on March 3rd too because I have no plans to buy the Switch at all. They have left so many things unanswered and I felt, other than the above, the presentation was very very "meh".

I'd like to see trailers for games coming later at this event, then maybe demos of them at E3. Launch window won't cut-it, after the droughts on WiiU (after they'd already "learned their lesson") they need to show the platform will have longevity right from the off!

I agree with you guys, it has to be Splatoon. It's too barebones of a game for it to just get a port over. Needs a lot adding to it!

@Ashley could you please ask if the Switch will have the Download Play feature that the DS/3DS has? ...and of course, if not mentioned in the reveal event, can you ask if it has Party Chat?
