  1. The point is that Nintendo are coming off the back of a failed console with features that didn't cut the mustard and wouldn't have done back in 2006! They need to break away from their image of constantly lagging behind the competition. Online is a HUGE part of this. If you don't think it is, you're a fool, it's quite that simple... as reported last year, Sony's PSN alone made more money than the whole of Nintendo! http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-04-28-sonys-psn-is-making-more-money-than-all-of-nintendo It's not that I'm obsessed with online, it's that Nintendo should be and the message they're putting out doesn't show that they have caught up, yet again!
  2. How about you give a little thought to it then? Given that you posted the snarky comment either side of this... ...are you just trying to incite an argument like people say you always do? If not, then why not form some sort of thought out reply, or is that asking too much?
  3. As much as you're making these remarks, surely you see the benefit if it stated it supported online play... no?
  4. We know, but some people may well not. Parents looking to get things for their kids for instance, newcomers to gaming perhaps. It's better they have it in than out!
  5. I'm not "looking into it", we know it'll have online, I'm just wondering why they don't mention it. It is a selling point after all... probably moreso than the 8 player local play in all honesty. The message it gives is that online isn't a focus once again... and that isn't good, surely..? It's good that the image they're putting across is more a handheld than home console. I do think a hybrid is the right move for Ninty. Not as much as I wish it did!
  6. Why aren't they mentioning online in the ad..?
  7. I use my phone browser but don't have any problems... I don't really resize much.
  8. Serebii in things turning out to not be true shocker?! No way! :p
  9. @Ronnie, if they announce the details before release I'll be happy... but I won't apologise as I don't feel I've anything to apologise for.. I think you are a fanboy, whether they announce the details before or after launch.
  10. Why listen to you telling me that, on Nintendo's own website, the graphic is "probably inaccurate"..?! Deary me Ronnie, deary bloody me! How blinding is your fanboyism?!
  11. Firstly, it's not ridiculous in the slightest, that you think it is is what's actually ridiculous. Secondly, I get you now... although it's different seeing how Sony announced literally everything about the PS4 Pro prior to its reveal. Nintendo aren't doing that, they're waiting until after the reveal.
  12. This is not comparable to the PS4 Pro situation as they'd said, clearly, prior to its launch that it wasn't replacing the PS4, it was simply another version of it... a continuation of the current line. Switch, however, is replacing the WiiU. It's not a continuation, it's replacing it. They should be outlining what is replacing what exactly.
  13. The "worse and worse" wasn't suggesting that there wouldn't be any online. I don't know why you decided to think I meant that. I'm talking about their messaging, the delivery of the information... or, the total lack thereof! After the failure they had with the WiiU they really needed to be coming out swinging. Answering the questions & concerns people had thanks to the WiiU, but they've done nothing of the sort. That's what I mean by worse! Take off your fanboy Nintendo-tinted glasses and see the situation as it is!
  14. Oh dear. They are handling this awfully... it's getting worse and worse!
  15. So to those who've played it, do the camera and controls not detract too much from the experience? I was hyped for this game but hearing how they were put me off!
  16. Could do, just don't fancy the hassle of having to get up, get the tram into Manchester to get the Switch and then come back home. I used to live about 100 metres from a Grainger Games so I would've, but now I live a good few miles from any store so it's a bit of a ball-ache. I might well do yet though.
  17. I may well get a Switch sooner than I was thinking I would. After I finish Zelda on the WiiU I'll be trading the WiiU and my 3DS in, so I may as well put that towards a Switch. I'm not sure why I forgot about trading stuff, haha. The only thing that will push the purchase back a bit is that I'll have finished Zelda so won't be double-dipping and there's not much on the immediate horizon that interests me.
  18. I'm glad we've got a cushion, next couple of games are tricky. I'm just glad we're a lot better collectively since we last played both Arsenal and Liverpool.
  19. Hahahaha [tweet]823210985750220802[/tweet] I'm not entirely sure if you have a clue what you're on about @Choze..?!
  20. I never that that they should or will do it, just said how they probably could.
  21. Well, that it can run Unreal 4, you'd expect ports to be possible... scaled down, yes, but possible none-the-less.
  22. Interesting... Not sure if already posted, I did a quick search and couldn't see... but anyhoo, it would be a total and utter piss-take charging again for VC games we've already bought, especially if these are practices Nintendo undertake.
  23. I've ordered it on WiiU and, if I get a Switch at some point, I won't double-dip either.
  24. Deary me @dazzybee, that's being blinkered mate! Clear foul and red card offence! It's worse than when Luiz should've been sent off for us against City!
  25. You know it's a port though, right? It only started development last spring... it's in no way a Switch game in the most true sense. In mind of that, I can't wait to see what a ground-up Switch Zelda would be like!
