It's Tsukiyomi. I also loved how the cleavage and hips of Sakuya take the look of a peach. Peaches must have some symbolism in Japan to be represented so much in various media. I just know about the Momotarou tale and can't find any other peach related ones... but it's just probably related to "ume" flower blossom (like sakura ones but less popular). And hearing of yôkai really please my ears (even if they are not real ones from japanese tales). Those weird things are my favourites myths creatures. If you've played Goemon Great Adventure (the second one on N64), all the ennemies are yôkai (even the guys with a eye instead of their anus ). Being a fan of myths from all over the world and japanese culture, this game is made for me (and, in another genre, Ganbare Goemon games too ).

I got it too. Played it nearly 3 hours yesterday and I'm in love with the game. I love the classic japanese feel and all the numerous little references to japanese myths and culture. The artstyle is simply astonishing. Can't wait to leave work and continue to play it.
  3. Monty Mole and Kamek are so awesome it's a shame we don't see them more...
  4. There's anime cut scenes (and god knows what else) ... if you want to waste so much of your already small wii hard drive, it can be on Wiiware.
  5. The main villain in Wario Land 1... http://www.mariowiki.com/Captain_Syrup I actually never played a game she's in (just watch one of my friends doing the boss battle where she fights with a genie) but find her really interesting and she's a pirate so she can't be anything beside incarnate awesomeness. CAPTAIN SYRUP FOR BRAWL!! ... Oh shit! Too late.
  6. I think we now know why the game can't be on Wiiware. And Captain Syrup!! :yay:
  7. Seems like amazingly nice 2D! Hope the game turns good but coming from a guy who work on 2D Ganbare Goemon and Castlevania (good ones), I'm rather optimistic about this game.
  8. :yay: I've pre-ordered the game in one of their shops. I hope they have it in France and I will have one. It looks a lot better than the original one.
  9. Just been classified by the OFLC for Australia under the title "Wario Land: The Shake Dimension". The title is developped by "Good Feel" studio, created in 2005 by Shigeharu Umezaki.
  10. What seems to be the (complete?) roster:
  11. New stupidly out of place character revealed. http://www.jeuxvideo.fr/apprenti-dark-vador-soulcalibur-actu-142860.html Darth Vader apprentice from "The Force Unleashed"... :shakehead
  12. Seriously! What's with all the people selling their console to buy the same one again few months later? Be patient guys. It could save your money. Anyway, this game looks very promising. It's good to see some third parties putting some effort into graphics.
  13. New screens:
  14. A noki (the shellfish guys) from Super Mario Sunshine.
  15. Confirmed!! :yay: http://gonintendo.com/?p=45050 Hope it's in 2,5D!
  16. First trailer: http://wiifolder.com/?p=23 Seems there's a lot of characters.
  17. the flying rock whale.
  18. Planned japanese release date: 23 oct 2008
  19. Seems you have some exclusive info. Maybe you can share it.
  20. Herr... it will be released in 2009. The graphics have plenty fo time to be enhanced. Furthermore, Wii games screenshots are often quite crappy... And we know nothing about the game, the plot, the gameplay, the features,... it's way too early to bash it. The game seems to have a good potential for me. Wait and see.
  21. No it's not and it came form here and not Kotaku: http://www.livewii.fr/news/96687/-Ubidays-08-Prince-of-Persia-sur-Wii.html?c=21
