I'd have to agree. Check out these vids for some examples.

Should LM2 go into development, they should include the sequel to the Game Boy Horror - The DS Fright!

I loved PES 08. I'm glad they're improving the shooting and defending in this, as they were the weak spots. If they keep Champions Road, but add Master League, and the option to use your save file in online matches, plus a better edit mode, more licensed clubs and possibly championship clubs (go Cov!) I'll be happy.

Two events which I know need completion on hard are Advent of the Evil King and Dark Link Duel, the latter of which I should attempt tonight. The first one is just stupid. Ganondorf (who I suck with) vs. Link, Zelda and Pit. I eventually beat it just by running away a lot and spamming his neutral-b.

Anyone got tips for 100-man brawl? My best is 99 kills using DK's down-b, but I just can't get that one extra kill.

Unlocked Sonic yesterday. Did it by completing Classic with 10 different characters. He's fun to use, but his smash attacks leave little impression.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (100% Spoiler-Free Topic)
LeeWii replied to Tellyn's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've used the Classic controller non-stop, even though I have a Wavebird, and am finding it really good. Haven't seen the need to alter the controls (bar turning tap-jump off, for ease of using Meta's up-smash, which I spam a bit much ), and I find the Zr button easy to reach too, despite my inital fears. -
So far, and the game is matching my expectations. Before getting the game, I was expecting to main Meta Knight, Dedede and Pokémon Trainer. But at the moment, it's out of Meta Knight, DK and Luigi, followed by Falcon, Lucas, and Pokémon Trainer. I've only played SSE as far as just passing the Fox + Diddy stage, but via classic and brawl matches, I've already unlocked Ness, Marth, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Falco and Snake. Love the game so far.

Friday is gonna be the longest Economics lesson I've had..... ....Worth it, though. -
Is it the one with the giant mushroom after the wooden bridge? Or something else?

Got 2:02 last night. Could probably get 2:00 or just under but it isn't worth the stress of repeatedly pressing restart.
-
Damn right. Had to get on the DS again the other day just to race it. That track never gets old.
-
For God's sake, they allowed voice chat for Diamond and Pearl, and if that's not a hunting ground for dirty old men I don't know what is! So what can't they have it for MK? I mean, as aforementioned, we have parental controls. God, Ninty like to contradict themselves.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

I guess. It just lacked the charm for me. Like I said, maybe a VC release is due?

They can go 3D, as long as they don't cock up like Sonic Team.... Personally, I'd like to see proper re-releases of R/B/Y & G/S/C, maybe on DS VC or something. Then after that, maybe a much more non-linear RPG. Plays like the originals, though you can play in all 4 regions. You start from whichever town you want, and develop your player that way. Would be good if it was on a home console, 'cause you could also have amazing online, and the underground and secret bases would be used better. Alternatively, why not a Gym Sim? You start by designing your layout, putting traps and puzzles in. You first have 2 trainers to include. The more successful your gym is, you wage budget increase and you can hire more trainers. You can also decide opening/closing times. When the gym is closed, you can improve it, or train/catch your pokémon. If your gym is deemed good enough, you may wish to add another gym elsewhere, then decide who should run the other gym while you're away at your new one. The depth you can have for the ideas is endless.

That competition, heh. I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone, but I was just 'WTF?!?!?!?!' after the first corner. The record for that competion is just daft/hacked.
-
The ranks also take into account how many times you went off the track.

The thing that makes Mirror a challenge for me is that if you know a track really well, then playing it on mirror knackers your sense of direction (I found this on DK's Snowboard Cross online - I was bollocked as to which side of the half-pipe to take to get the best line). If you half-know a track it will be tough. It's funny. My router's set up funnily. Whenever the phone rings/hangs up it disconnects. It reconnects during a conversation though. I had about 3 cases online where the phone went, but instead of disconnecting, all the other racers froze, before it came up on screen 'Positions have been determined. Race has been ended'. It then said I'd won, and I got a bunch of points. This got me thinking - If I ring home during a race, how long will it take me to get to 9000? Not that I'll do it though.
-
Had my first mirror races online today. I think the ratings of your opponents determines what CC you play on. The majority of races seems to be 100cc though. Has anyone seen any competitions?

Fucking perfect. Right after the exams, two days before my birthday! :D :D Couldn't ask for a better date given my situation (other than 3 weeks ago).
-
If the release date were to be June 6th, that would be so damn perfect, 'cause my AS level exams are on the 3rd and 4th. and Brawl would be a great way to relax. Well, it comes 2nd to going out with the missus. But still, damn good timing if it were to happen.

Finally got 6000 points online, but had to disconnect. Bloody door. When online, I usually vote for Koopa Cape; Maple Treeway; DK's Snowboard Cross; Wario's Gold Mine; Coconut Mall; Toad's Factory, then random. In that order. Whenever I play on Bowser's Castle online, the person in first place always seems to have a gargantuan lead. Is this the same for anyone else.

The AI is beginning to piss me off now. I was on Delfino Square yesterday. I was 2nd, just behind Waluigi. It was the corner before the drawbridge, with the water on the side. I get caught up in the explosion of a blue shell. Just as I accelerate again, Peach knocks into me and gives me a thundercloud. Then, about 5 racers all manage to collide with me and shove me into the water. Wasn't the happiest of chappies. Hitting a wall is too costly on this game. It knocks you back really far, especially at speed. I lose about 2 places each time I hit a wall. Furthermore, the Chain Chomp on the new Mario Circuit is bollocks. Still managing to do well online though.

Methinks it will probably be along the lines of the Everybody Votes Channel, where several competitions are posted for about a fortnight, then the results and whatnot are compiled, etcetera.
