  1. General Movie Thread

Still waiting for the BluRay-release of Gravity. I'm dying to see it. Just finished watching The Place Beyond the Pines Brilliant movie. I hate that those kinds of movies don't get the recognition they deserve in Germany. The majority of my fellow fucking Germans only likes naked men/women with photoshopped abs/tits/asses (yes..they do look good), teenage vampires or those lovey-dovey romantics. I hate my country.
  2. Hyper-Gemstone Ultra-Fish Mafia

@Yvonne @Cube What does the gem do? Care to share? @Sheikah Yes I got the turtle.
  3. General Movie Thread

Just seen X-Men for the very first time. Good movie. I enjoyed it. But it's obvious that it's from the year 2000 And David Hayter wrote the screenplay...that came as a surprise. Now I need to see the other four installments of the series (which are already in my possession/ordered).
  4. Super Mario 3D World (Nov 29th)

Game looks better, now that I've seen the October trailer. Shame I don't own a WiiU. Bundle the console with the game for 200€ and I will get one. This won't happen for the next one or two years, though - if ever... Well, Nintendo will be able to survive without me buying their games :p
  5. PlayStation 4 Console Discussion

The greatest thing in that video is Jimmy Fallon's eyes filled with genuine amazement. He's enjoying this. This is what gaming is all about (yes, I consider the play room a real video game). Make people enjoy the new technology. For us 'hardcore gamers' the playroom won't have the same effect and this 'next generation' will have a rocky start, but I can see myself enjoying games the same way Jimmy Fallon enjoys playing with virtual robots.
  6. General Book Thread

Currently reading Bright Young Things by Scarlett Thomas. It's brilliant so far. Edit: Well, finished it...and hmmmm... The ending isn't what I had expected, and I'm not sure I like it. The rest of the book is amazing, though. Six characters end up on an island and they have to 'survive'. But it's not about survival. It's about how they interact. And I could relate to everyone of them. Scarlett Thomas become my favourite author since I've finished The End of Mr Y and PopCo several years ago. Is there anyone who's read either of those and could recommend me something similar? I'll buy every other book she's written, but I'd like to know if there are any other authors covering similar themes
  7. Hyper-Gemstone Ultra-Fish Mafia

In that case I'll swim to the surface
  8. Hyper-Gemstone Ultra-Fish Mafia

    I was roleblocked.
  9. Yep, she's that particular lady I'm in the best mood right now
  10. Alright, alright. If masturbating Spiderman says so :p
  11. Not really, I told her I would look up something nice. :p But it will probably come down to me asking her if she could choose a nice restaurant
  12. Can't keep up with Ashley's eight billion dates, but... ...I have a date a week from Saturday. Well, I don't know where we'll get dinner/something to drink, yet. As I've mentioned, she lives several kilometers away so I don't know suitable places near her home. Don't want to make her drive all the way to my town. Anyway. Date, get! @Ellmeister
  13. Hyper-Gemstone Ultra-Fish Mafia

Ever? Or just for the Low Tide? Edit: Oh you sneaky bastard :p
  14. The Blu-ray Collection Thread

  15. PlayStation 4 Console Discussion

Don't care, but it's something all those Xbox fanboys can revel in now. Urgh, how I hate fanboys. PS4TW! lol Cancelled my Killzone Bundle pre-order. Money is a bit tight. Might have to wait until next year. But I will have 5 PS4 games at 29th of November...gonna be tough
  16. Resogun

I love them. They know what gamers want.
  17. What Have You Bought?

    Whoop, whoop.
  18. Watched Despicable Me 2 just now and had to think of this thread during the following scene Yes, a lot of things that I see remind me of N-E :p
  19. Saying "Sorry, but I don't think it'll work out" politely and with a smile is much better than lying to that person. If you (not you, Frank :p ) don't have the guts to say that after a date, then you shouldn't be dating. Something from me: I hate asking a lady out via a text message, which is why I haven't asked the cute girl out, yet. The problem is: I will most likely not see her in the near future to ask her personally. Urgh, fuck it. I'll ask her in a couple of days, as soon as I have a bit more free time
  20. Funny Stuff Thread

Reminded me of that: Edit: That kid giving a thumbs-up, saying "Oh, good job."
  21. The Android Thread

So I bought a Bluetooth keyboard. It works. The only problem...it has a QWERTZ layout (Germany) but whenever I write texts my Nexus uses the QWERTY layout, which is quite annoying since I want/have to use üäö. Don't want to change the system language to German. I also have set the input language to "German QWERTZ". Doesn't work Help.
  22. I'm holding my breath. It's your fault if I die. DO SOMETHING.
  23. This justifies a double post: The lady and I texted a bit today. She asked me what I think about the Star Wars series. I told her that Episodes IV, V and VI are amazing and the newer movies are okay. Her response: "Yeah, I feel the same about them :)" She also loves Jumanji. I think I have to marry her.
