Holy crap, had forgotten all about the 90's, man they were good times. I seem to remember my favorite cartoons being count duckula and danger mouse. Loved pog's but I was all about collecting kinis! And I never got to watch things like the Simpson's as we didn't have sky at home. I remember my plastic Jurassic Park lunch box, complete with leaky drink holder tho : peace:

Ok well I got my dual boot installed fairly easily. I had to download Gparted as Partition Magic 8 kept throwing up errors. I also created my various linux partitions manually in the end. I am using a wide screen monitor with a radeon 9800 pro and for some reason can't get a widescreen resolution. Thing is, I'm not really sure where to begin with getting it working, any ideas?

Ok, so I have the live CD and partion magic here, I am going to set a 20Gb partition for Ubuntu as I want to keep my XP install and I see partition magic lets you choose from a number of different linux options for the type of partition you want. Which should I choose? It can be Linux Ext2, Linux Ext3 or Linux Swap.

Hehe, maybe they changed it to have green blood ^^ Either way, I hope the 'un-edited' version is leaked somewhere so we can play/see it.

Which is exactly why Windows will always be my main OS. I am interested in Linux more for its stability with regards to being a server type system rather than my OS. I know you can get most games to work these days though I think.

I have tried Ubuntu before as I was very impressed with the live CD option, but decided against running it as my main OS. I do now have a test machine which I can use for this so I'm going to give it another go. I watched the video of Beryl and have to say it is very sexy, but my test machine has a 9800 pro in it, so judging from what I have read, I don't think it will work? Also, have they got rid of the horrible brown-ness yet? I really do hate brown.

I have just bought all the GBA/DS FF games so now I can play them all at my leisure, however finding the time to do so isn't easy! I'm really looking forward to FF6 tho, the retrospective on gametrailers.com made it look so awesome. I haven't played any of the 2D FF games before though.

I don't really want to read through all the pages of PSP bashing, so I'm just going to ask, do we know the release date for the redesign of the PSP?

Indeed, although I haven't yet played sam and max, I have heard nothing but good things...could never finish maniac mansion tho, might give it another go now that I'm all grown up, lol.

Agreed. I don't have any of the latest consoles yet, but my first purchase is going to be the 360 elite later this month. I'm not getting a Wii until MP3 comes out. In the mean time I have my DS which has more good games than I even have time to play.

So what is so good about this game series then? I have heard a lot about them but never played them.

I have decided that I am going to buy a Wii next week but I'm wondering where I should get it from, if there are any good deals about and what games I should get. I have been playing WoW for over 2 years now and I haven't been keeping up to date with the current generation of consoles I will continue to browse the Wii board (this is the first time I have been on it since it came about )

Hello there! I am currently using a wired Microsoft multi-media keyboard and a Logitec wirless mouse (MX7 I believe). Both of these are a couple of years old and could do with replacing. I have no idea what to replace them with. I know I want them to both be wireless, and I like the multimedia controls on the keyboard. I use my computer mainly for playing games (WoW) and surfing the net/watching films etc. So does anybody have any recommendations. Price is not an issue EDIT - This looks good, has anyone got one?
