  5. Questions

Because it's the new boards and they're too lazy to fix them? We should have a new smilie set. See Something Awful for awesome smilies. Or the Trillian community. I want my :emo:

Clearly base 10 isn't the holy grail of number systems despite it's apparent simplicity.

Why a prostitute, you misogynistic pig? She looks hot but capable of taking care of herself.

  10. Okay, but if you can from to time, burn a CD at least with your stuff, you'll thank yourself in the long run.
  11. Computer Wont Shut Down

    What operating system?
  12. Ouch ouch ouch, you shouldn't have used the restore disc that came with the machine, they ALWAYS just wipe it, unlike a proper XP disc. Damnit.... I would have said to try and boot with something else so you could back your files up. Didn't give enough time to let anyone help you >_< GetDataBackNTFS is a pretty useful tool for getting files back, but it's not free. Another awesome tool of doom is ERD Commander 2005, although I have the full version of that too, and that's not free, but it's a little piece of awesome. The less data you write to your drive now, the more chance you have of getting those files back. PROTIP: Never rely on a laptop to store the only copy of some essential data. Get yourself an external drive so you can backup onto it. Laptops get thrown around while the drive is spinning and are super prone to failure.
  13. Arghhh! I need a mac

Aww... please do, I'd love to hear your cute excuses! At least I'm not stupid enough to make sweeping generalisations about a guy I don't even know.

Well I'm not getting into it, it's almost bannable on Something Awful and there isn't any way I'm publicly flogging this dead horse again.
  18. Marmite anyone?

    Sounds pretty good to me.
  19. Tobbacco takes it in the pooper....

I knew he was being sarcastic hence my ridiculous replies. Sarcasm is awesome. It just gets misunderstood too much.
  20. Tobbacco takes it in the pooper....

I know, but damn. I wish I had a cold one right now infact...
  21. Arghhh! I need a mac

Wow, that was an informed and witty response, you could have at least tried, like the other guy who is putting up some decent arguments. Windows is just not as bad as people think.
  22. Tobbacco takes it in the pooper....

    Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
  23. Xbox 360 Console Discussion

I promise you they are not in the majority. The majority don't think about buying a shiny new system to play the previous generations games.
  24. Arghhh! I need a mac

Apple will only want you to do things their way. It treats you like an idiot. Windows doesn't. User error or substandard hardware are the vast cause of Windows crashes. By the way, the Dual 2.7Ghz PowerMac is not the fastest home computer available, do you not remember all the hoohah in the press when Apple was forced to take down such a statement? However I have nothing against the hardware, or the PowerPC architecture, but rather Mac OS X and the way Apple does things. It's all just too cutesy.
