  1. Halo Infinite looks pretty good to me! Classic Halo gameplay with a new mechanic (the grappling hook). This is exactly what I like from a new game in an existing series - the same game but with new levels and some new mechanic to mix things up a bit. I don't want them to dramatically change the gameplay, if I wanted that I'd play a different series. And I'm SUPER happy they're releasing it on Steam. I just hope the Steam release isn't some weird modern wacky thing where you have to own and Xbox or stream it or subscribe to some paid "pass" service or something. And that the Steam release isn't too far apart from the console release. But so far pretty happy! :D

  2. It's sure tough finding places to advertise. Even the main reddit group for let's plays doesn't allow advertising let's plays! What's that all about lol. xD

I've had a little bit of luck posting on a few let's play groups on Facebook, and when I did my old Crash playthrough I posted on a few Crash groups.

Hope that's of some help. :) I've also subscribed to your channel, I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

  3. Since I finished everything in the Isle of Armor (well, except completing all the different kinds of Restricted Battles), I've been playing the recently dropped Halo 3 for PC on Legendary. So glad it's finally on PC. xD

I've also started a YouTube Walkthrough of it, if anyone would like to check it out! I'm also at an amazingly high 27 subscribers right now xD, so if anyone can help me get to 30 (nice round number) i'd be greatly appreciated!

  4. If you'd like something official from Google, https://developer.android.com/studio also has an Android emulator. I used it a few months back when I needed to get Pokemon Home working and received the Pokemon available through it at the time. Since then I've managed to get Home working on my old phone.

I totally agree with what others have said though, it would be a lot better if all of Pokemon Home's functionality was available on the Switch too.

  5. Wooooo!

All I have left to do on the Isle of Armor now is finish the Watts/Dojo quest. And then try my luck with Restricted Training.

I have really enjoyed the Isle of Amor, I wish the story was longer but overall I am definitely glad I bought it, and looking forward to The Crown Tundra.

  6. OMG, after many failed attempts and trying different Pokemon and strategies, and with help from a pal, I FINALLY took down a Shiny Zeraora, woooo! :D

What worked in the end was training a Runerigus. I gave it 252 HP and 252 SpD (its base Def is already pretty high), Leftovers, and then just spammed Haze while my pal and the two other players (one Human, one AI) concentrated on attacks. I think Zeraora got mad at me though as it used all of its attacks in the final turn against my Runerigus lol. xD Really lucky I'd used a Max Potion that turn or we'd have lost the battle.

  7. Phew it's working, on both Sword and Shield. Was really worried I might have got the wrong one or something after the news the other day lol. xD

Anywho, had a quick go, seems alright so far. The story so far has made me laugh a few times, and it's nice seeing Pokemon I haven't caught in SwSh yet. I enjoy completing the dex so I'll have a good time even if there's not much story. I haven't really played it enough yet to analyse it much more than that. xD But I'm glad it's here. :D

  8. Today I finished Halo 2 on Legendary (PC/Steam). It would say it is the most difficult single player game I have ever played, but Ecco the Dolphin exists, so it's in second place. xD But it sure was difficult. I died a lot and really appreciated each checkpoint. :D

It was also really excellent fun. I've never played through Halo 2 before. I really enjoyed the story, the music and the gameplay. I also liked the Arbiter's gameplay a lot with the temporary camo mechanic. You can tell the developers really cared about the game. Amongst the story there's also lots of humour. Several times I actually really lol'd just hearing the daft things the enemies (and sometimes ally AI players) would say.

I'm looking forward to Halo 3, and after that looking forward to seeing how Halo 4 compares to the first 3. As I understand it, at that point it was taken over by 343 and Bungie broke of from MS, sacrificing ownership of Halo and began work on Destiny (which I've never played).

  9. Halo 2 dropped the other day or so. I already completed Reach and Halo 1's campaigns, so now I'm currently playing through Halo 2's campaign on legendary. This is my first time through Halo 2's campaign, so it's new to me. :D

MAN it's tougher than Halo 1. Or perhaps I just have more experience with Halo 1. xD

    Anywho having a blast.

The game drops a bit in FPS a bit for me sometimes on the anniversary graphics, which is disappointing since the game has way less complex graphics than Battlefield 4, and that runs at a solid 60 FPS on my PC. But it's not toooo often and I'm not an "EVERYTHING MUST RUN AT 9000 FPS AT ALL TIMES" guy.

The graphics in the cutscenes are AMAZING. I actually just for a second thought one of the characters was an actual actor.

The music's pretty darn good as well, really enjoyed some of the tracks in the game so far.

The gameplay's great - well, it's Halo and I like Halo, so that makes sense. xD

  10. Hey y'all, I almost missed this myself so I thought I'd post it here for anyone else that might have missed.

From now until Monday 18th May you can get via max-raid a Gigantamax Pikachu, which was previously only available with Let's Go Pikachu save data.

From Tuesday 19th May until Monday 25th May you'll be able to get the equivalent Gigantamax Eevee.

From Tuesday 26th May until Monday 1st June you'll be able to get the Gigantamax Meowth that was previously only available by pre-ordering SwSh. I reaaally recommend getting a few of these as it's great for earning tons of in-game cash rly fast.

  11. If you're not planning on needing to move this computer around once it's set up, would it be worth considering going for a desktop rather than a laptop?

Usually you can get better specs for your money with a desktop, so you might be able to get a little of the best of both worlds e.g. spending less money but gaining access to more higher spec requiring games.

    Just a thought! :)
